Honestly Sel it really doesn't, people just need to be the adults they are expected to be. I called out a few times last night that the comm chatter was getting a bit much, and the guilty ones piped down.
There are times and places to babble about nonessential shit. One or 2 sounded butthurt but comms got much much better to the point where I received a tell from our illustrious leader
One thing I hear though and I mentioned last night....
    " O SHIT " !!!! "HOLY FUCK" ... " GODDAMNIT" !!!!
You want to yell that out, go for it, scream it out at the top of your lungs !!!!! Just don't key up your mic's when doing it.
No one wants to hear it.
Also, no one wants to hear that everyone who kills you is a hacker, if there is an obvious hacker, ABSOLUTELY let us know and we all will report him/her. But we have a few individuals who whenever they die, every person who kills them is a hacker... Again... I honestly don't want to hear it...
Read Jaamaws link guys and understand TS is a tool, is can be used to be sociable during down times but overall its a tool to communicate within the game we are all playing together.

While that's a huge part of it, it still doesn't change that the platoon leader is the most important voice to hear, and as such, especially during ops, should have priority speaker and broadcast to all ops channels, because at that moment when they are giving orders, everything else related or not becomes less important and should be quieter.

Mind you, ops are currently just a group of squads zerging a waypoint with incredibly lacking tactics, so, dunno if it would really be much of an improvement.

There isn't that issue during an actual op. When we have our PLs leading they just call for tactical comms or tell someone to hush it and the group follows. I have never seen that issue other than during the day when we have casual play

One thing is to vent a bit of frustration on TS after one or a couple of bullshit kills or two. I usually don't mind when that happens. But if it goes on for longer than a minute, it becomes disruptive.

For repeated offenders. my strategy with dealing with chatter during ops is pretty simple: I call them out on it. For example, if someone is going on and on about how they got killed in detail, I simply tell them something along the lines of...

"WOW THAT SOUNDS REALLY FUCKIN TACTICAL. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THAT ONE MORE TIME SO THAT ALL OF US CAN USE THAT INFORMATION TO HELP US IN THE FIGHT WE'RE CURRENTLY IN? I'D REALLY LIKE TO HEAR WHAT THE FUCK YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT
IT, ESPECIALLY DURING OPS, WHICH IS RIGHT NOW."

Might be too much for certain people, but my goal is to get them to shut the fuck up so I can do my job so that we can win. If they get offended, they should know that I was just calling them out on their disruptive behavior.

If the platoon leader (and I emphasize platoon leader) asks to "Clear comms" and express that chatter is becoming problematic, people will tend to shut up. And if I'm platoon leading, I will kick you out of the platoon if you keep that shit up. And I will make an example out of you.
