Obummer met with Netanyahu. Sounds like Israel is taking the position of: "We will attack whenever we want if we decide to, and you can go suck a dick."

Let me just say this, I have been on the ground during a few of our confrontations.. Nobody will benefit.
Our current military is high in numbers but highly under trained.. example : when my son came back from basic.. he was trained for 1 thing.. to fill a body bag.
When I went thru Basic, AIT and Ranger school.. we left ready to fight tooth and nail for our country, after I returned... my thoughts on our politicians changed for I saw and did things I regret to this day because some snot nosed politician said it needed to be done ..
Bosnia, Somalia, Operation Desert storm... plus tons of nondescript countries.. yes thats my resume ..

In regards to Dub, those studies you mentioned also should show that we here in the states have NOT built or rebuilt 1 refinery since the 70's.
The major oil refinery in Texas that went up ... still not rebuilt ..

I guess the easiest statement is this:
What did we do as a country to earn our democracy? we had a revolutionary war.
What did we do as a country to bring a larger form of unity to our nation? we had a civil war

why do we always interfere with other countries that in all honesty should deal with the same stuff we did?
cause some politician somewhere in a little office says we should.
