NNG - No Nonsense Jet Rodeo

Nice, here is my setup right now, got away from the computer and usually run my decks linked with 2 sd cards. It's nice because u can play from either card on either players.

Yeah like I said, I ran some Stanton Vinyl a while back. but fuck vinyl is hard to get, takes a lot of space, and for mixing you generally want two of everything.

I'll have to order them from Germany, but I found a place that can get two decks and a mixer to me in 5 days super cheap. The rest I can get here - "house" speakers, headphones (I have) etc. I can run left ear house, right ear mix. But I prefer actually speakers for the house and headhpones for the mix channel.

And for software I use "VirtualDJ" Open source, simple and free. I don't care for Traktor.

Oh and for headphones I use AKG's.
Another thing cool about the Digital Jockey is it's an easy and cheap way to run 4 decks. ^^

It's hard to actually tell what I've doen without being familiar with the tracks I used.

And that Caspa mix was using 4 decks and intended to be an absolute minfduck of noise lol, it was hard to do. In the second half I fucked up bad and you hear 3 tracks all off beat so I just killed it to the single track and tryed it again lol. Didnt care to restart just kept going. The last 3 minutes of that track was probably the best part. I think I wound it down good considering how bad the middle portion went.

My style is high preempted. I know what I want and I go. I have a lot of stuff where I'd actually start over and redo it several times to get it right. I NEVER post edit. Always hit record and go.

I am really considering doing mixes of stuff for my videos. Like actual planned stuff designed to fit into the footage.

I am near completion of another video. It's not as "packed" as I wanted but I am sticking to the YouTube 15 minute limit to make things kosher. Also 15 minutes is a good medium for avoiding boredom. It's not hard to crank out 15 minute videos twice a month or more, depending how games go. If need I can always make multi parters and with the into only being in first part and credits in only the final part. An extended version of the Jet Rodeo will be in the film as well.

 

Please do share with Defiant so he can get it into the NNG channel as well

Afaik, Defiant wanted me to let him know when and he'd give me the YT details so I could save all trouble and just upload straight there. Of course after I'll have it on my channel as well with a plug for the NNG channel. Maximize publicity.
