I found a voicemail on my phone about some "activity" on my card that they wanted to talk to me about. Maybe I'll get this sorted out yet

Nope, I called em last night and told them what's up and they said they would fix it. But I still can't buy it today. Awesome.

Know what? I probably shouldn't get this anyways. I have bills to pay. But why isn't this on steam? Someone fucked up

Try making that purchase while you still have them on the phone, than they will have no excuse ;)

They said that after the initial couple times I tried they turned it off for fraud reasons, but now it's my credit unions fault. I have to talk to them about it

This game looks pretty damn sweet....however... the idea of "space trucking" or having to jump from system to system to system for god knows how long to do something makes drilling holes in my head a lot more appealing of an option.

Is there any way to get ahead in this game besides mining or space trucking? I would mostly want to be involved in some sweet space combat. On that note, what happens when you get blown up?

I haven't got to play the game since the last beta build but yeah you can make good monies being a bounty hunter, space pirate or flying combat missions for one of the factions. You don't have to be a space trucker, it's jut one of the ways to make money.

When your ship goes boom, it's gone. You can pay the insurance rate to get it back, roughly 5-10% value of your ship and all upgrades. So keep at least that much cash in your wallet at all times or you will be going back to the free ship and starting over.

Bounty hunting is quite lucrative, but you need the ship to do it first. The initial space trucking "quests" should get you enough monies to get some weapons and a warrant scanner.

So they are kinda making their players be financially competent? THOSE BASTARDS! Can you coop bounty hunt? Can you own multiple ships? About how long does it take you to earn enough to get something decent doing combat missions, assassinations or bounties?

I need to know more before I drop $50. Game looks pretty as all hell.

Can this game be adequately played with keyboard and mouse?

You can get an Eagle pretty damn quick from just bounty hunting, quick like first night. then it will take you a little while to upgrade it. Nice thing is the money you put into your eagle will go into the "trade in" value when you up to upgrade your bounty hunter ship to like a Viper.

I know you can have multiple ships but i don't know how that works, it wasn't added to the game yet the last time i played.

I know you can play with keyboard and mouse but i don't know how easy it is to play that way, I had my stick and Track IR when i started so i never tried. lots and lots of shit to map so be prepared to tinker with it for a while.

This game is a time sink, it takes a while to do pretty much anything. even bounty hunting it's not an "Action" game, it's very fun and rewarding but if your looking for pure space shooter it may not be for you.
