Steps to Configure


For anyone considering using Voice Attack to use with Star Citizen I say do it. I recently purchased it for $8 and its pretty cool. The video above is a walk through for how to set up all the commands you need. You can also import Commands from a file.

The author of the video above released his Voice Attack Command profile and I tweaked it to my own preferences. If you are interested he lists his command profile on his video.

It would be pretty freaking hard to use this and teamspeak at the same time while trying to dogfight though.

 

Also, make sure when you run it you run it as an Administrator otherwise it wont work. As for the TS issue, You can set up and 'prefix' and then group commands as a 'suffix group'. The command then wont fire unless you say the prefix first. In the video his prefix is 'Sara' I changed mine to be 'Computer'.

E.G. I Say 'Computer, Shields Forward' and the shields will go foward. It will only happen if i say computer first.

The Command profile he uses already has the prefix and suffix groups set up so its simply a matter of tweaking. I played last night like this and simply put, its fucking awesome. Worth every penny.

 

The immersion factor is growing more and more for this game! I. Must. Have.

 

Without a doubt, I will be getting this.

 

I know, but I still think it will be hard to talk to my ship while other people are talking. Sometimes I can't even hear myself think in TS.
