    www.microcenter.com usually has great deals on Intel CPU and MoBo combos, but it seems they are doing specials on AMD at the moment. Regardless, lowest prices I've found and there is a brick & mortar down the street for me so returns are easy and quick if something is DOA (which happens eventually to everyone at some point in their PC building career unless you just get extremely lucky).

    EDIT: This would be a decent semi-budget setup for the i5 @ ~$360 and should overclock great (DIGI VRM, Premium Gold Caps)

    Ram is good but I wouldn't worry to much until you change out MB and CPU, but definitly upgrade ram when you get the chance too to at least 8GB preferably 16GB.
