Thank you very much! Got a new GPU, GTX 650 for $87 from Micro Center. Its a lot better than my old GT 440. My FPS seems to be much better, but I did bog down to 5 FPS for a little while. I want to test these min specs and boost as needed.
When your in game Hit Ctrl+F it will tell you your FPS in the bottom left corner and what part of your system is holding your FPS back. It may be a CPU issue since PS2 is very intensive on the CPU
Tit i remember a awhile ago i was told a few of the setting at 0 are actually ultra. Just wanted to make sure you knew better than that or if we should look in to it more.
Ultra settings should be 5. Here's the ultra config I used for similar performance to my ultra low. Requires a high end system for good performance, but you MIGHT gain frames since it shifts some of the work from the CPU to the GPU. I find a lot of the lighting, particle and shadow effects visually impressive but mostly a distraction during fights. That's why I run on the super-low settings.
