    It won't be. Ghost capping will be very hard to do, due to the lack of territories being adjacent, therefore the combat will usually be located along the lattice itself and ghost capping will almost entirely disappear. It may still be prevalent during off-peak hours depending on location. (empty continent populations not included)

    You'll still need adjacency to capture bases, so by looking at the map, you can tell there will be little to no ghost capping going on. Before, influence effected how quickly a base would cap, my guess is it will now be a standard capture time.

    Exactly. Standing near the point is no longer necessary. One person will initiate the same capping procedure as 6 people would be.
    Stopping one-man teams is going to be tricky now, especially if they are above average.
