Here are guidelines to follow when joining the platoon's team speak channel AT ANY TIME OF DAY no matter how many players are present.

If you're going to play a character on a different faction utilize the appropriate channel in TS, that is why they are there.

TEAMSPEAK IS NOT A PLACE TO NARRATE YOUR GAME PLAY, NO ONE CARES AND IT CLAMS UP THE CHATTER. DEROGATORY, RACIST OR BIGOTED REMARKS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF NNG MEMBERSHIP AND BANISHMENT.
    • Chatter should be relevant to the CURRENT battlefield and it's resources, assets, tactics and intelligence.
      • When responding with information or a request make your transmission as close to 5 seconds or less as possible. This is not always the case but state your point and allow others to reply.
      • Do NOT argue in TS for any reason about anything. Even if it's pertinent to the game you will only piss everyone else off and make your argument invalid.
      • Information requires THREE things:
        1. Who - Enemy MBTs ------------------- Enemy HEAVIES ----------------------- Friendly Sunderer
        2. What - Moving in large column -------- Footzerging Squad strength-------- With AMS Spawning
        3. Where - On our West side--------------- South Flanking our magriders -------From South Hex
    • Proximity Chat should be bound for quick use instead of TS. Only those in proximity will care about things that can be said in proximity
      • Calling for medics only applies to those who can get to you. Re-spawning is faster than waiting 2 minutes for someone to find you.
      • Boasting about a kill you just made is nice. However only those around you that saw it or are in that part of the battle will really care. Keep it to prox and let everyone around you see you kick ass, not hear about it.
      • This also works for "that guys a hacker!".
      • Talking to vehicles around you also works well for spotting. Want the tank next to you to shoot at the same vanguard? Say it nice and clear in proximity you will be amazed with results.
      • Infantry spotting and AIR spotting are all only important to those who can hear it within proximity. Unless you are calling information to an officer only those near you will care.
    • No Nonsense applies to our TS3 as it does every aspect of NNG. It is our doctrine.
      • Each member will need to show respect to receive it. No matter rank, skill or experience dictates how much respect an individual deserves. We are all responsible for speaking to others how we want to be spoken to.
      • Yelling for any reason will result in an officer removing you from TS. We like our ears.
      • Be mindful of what you say and who can hear it. I believe we are all responsible for what we say, not what we hear.
    • Teamspeak is only fun because we make it what it is.
      • Everyone should take a part in making TS a good place.
      • We shouldn't have to yell "clear coms". When running at proper communication information will flow fast enough so that things that need to be said can and will.
      • Small off topic chatter is situational. If you're finishing a cap discussion is almost inevitable. This is when it's important to keep replies short and remember you are only moments away from the next big encounter
      • Late at night we tend to be more relaxed but must remember, just because we are hanging out not shooting and rolling a cig doesn't mean others aren't.
      • NNG encourages all players regardless of sex/voice to use Teamspeak to talk back. When a few flood the channel it's off putting to others.
TL;DR I spend large amounts of my day in TS even when not playing ps2, I have noticed so many others do too. I think our TS is in a great place and I hope it remains so with our future growth and development

Calling people "happy" or racist remarks will result with an inta-kick. If said person comes back and does it again, a ban will follow

Love this post. I'd add buzzcut sightings/kills to the list of things considered irrelevant chatter.
