    This is interesting:

    "
    June - Implants

Implants would utilize a new loadout slot and provide special bonuses that allow you to further tailor your class to the way you want to play.
    • Example implants might include stuff like:
      • Silent running
        • Your character emits no footstep audio
      • Safe Landing
        • Allows you to fall greater distances before taking damage
      • Audio Amp
        • Increases distance that enemies are spotted based on firing
What kinds of implants would you like to see added?"

So in order for me to see better I would have to pay money, did I get that correctly?

Implants were in PS1 and it's kinda like a "COD Perk" where you get a small advantage but your enemies may have a different one. I think it is going to be good to have more options. What one should take note of, is that these implants have NO seemable downside as of now.

Lots of other cool stuff too

    Customizable Squad Colors
    • The default squad colors can prove confusing and misleading when they look similar to the color schemes you have in place for enemy units. We'd like to provide the ability to customize squad colors to help alleviate this issue and give everyone the ability to choose the colors that work best for them.
    Server Transfer Token
    • The server transfer token would be a consumable item available through the Depot that allows a character to move from one server to another.
    Additional Loadouts
    • We've seen a lot of feedback recently asking for ways to obtain additional loadouts, so we would like to oblige these requests.
    Streamline Terminal/Loadout UI
    • We'd like to provide a faster and more streamlined way to access various loadouts from the terminal/loadout UI. This might entail providing hotkeys, or perhaps other elements to allow quick access to what you want to do without requiring as much navigation th
    Outfit Recruiting
    • Rolling with an outfit in PlanetSide 2 is really making the most of what the game has to offer in a number of different ways, so we want to make the process of finding an outfit and finding new recruits easier for everyone involved.
      • We're still working out the kinks, but the basic rough outline currently looks like this:
        1. A leader of an outfit wants to gain more members. They will modify an outfit description to let prospective members know what kind of Outfit it is. The leader can then toggle on a Looking for Members option.
        2. A player looking to join an outfit will click on a Join Outfit button. This will bring up a list of all outfits that are looking for members. The player will be able to see the description of the outfit which will be informative enough for him to decide if it is the type of outfit he wants to join.
        3. The player finds an outfit they like and will see a button next to the outfits listing that lets them send an application to join to the outfit.
        4. The outfit management page will have an area with open applications in it. Players in the outfit that can see and modify the outfit management page will be able to see those applications and click through to their profile page to see more information about the applicants. If the player’s stats look sufficient then their application can be accepted and the player will be added to the outfit. If a player tries to join an outfit when they already have an application outstanding, they'd receive a notification along the lines of:
          • “You have already applied to the Outfit “OutfitNameHere” would you like to withdraw this application and apply to a new outfit?”
          • If the player chooses to withdraw the application, a notification will be sent to the previously applied guild to let them know the player withdrew their application.
Increase the number of vehicle Cosmetic Slots
    • We offer a bunch of sweet cosmetic customizations for vehicles, but we only let you equip them one at a time. We'd like to add additional slots that will allow you equip multiple customizations on your vehicle SIMULTANEOUSLY. We have the technology!
    Vehicle Update: Empire Specific Fighters
    • We would like to polish and enhance the Empire Specific Fighter vehicles (Scythe, Mosquito, and Reaver)
    Outfit Base Capture
    • If your outfit is the top contributor to a base capture, we’ll identify the facility/outpost as “belonging” to your outfit.
      • We still have a lot of work that we will need to iron out on this, including figuring out what “top contributor” really means, so please call out factors you think would be most important to consider here.
    Per-Seat Vehicle Locking
    • We' would like to add the ability to lock vehicles at the individual seat level instead of the all or nothing options currently available.
    Minimap and HUD Indicator Customization
    • We'd like to provide more options, toggles, and customization options for the Minimap and HUD to help allow players to set up their UI in a way that works best for them.

All I want is the set of "Platoon Leader" abilities next to the "Squad Leader" abilities on the leadership certification menu. Dare I say, "Outfit Leader" abilities?

SOE response - "We apologize, we are too busy working to get the light assault class' jet pack to sound the correct way. Also, PTFO noob" That would probably be the response

So long as infils don't get shotties again, I don't really care what they do to them.

The fact that you don't give a shit just means that the devs made the right choice in making Infiltrators the next class to revamp. They need *a lot* of work.

The only things I see (most) cloakers doing nowadays are:
    • Sniping
    • Kill stealing
    • Hacking terminals
    • Sneaking up on people and killing noobs one by one
    • Hacking useless base turrets.
    • Wraith Flashing
Most of these things can be done by another class (and better) or just involve holding a button. I'd love to have a good reason to play infiltrator.

My intention with that phrase was to convey that I don't play the class often enough to know what it means, and that I can't, at the moment, think of how else they could improve infiltrators without making them blatantly OP, and thus don't have an opinion on how theyu should be changed. It was not my intention to indicate that I didn't care about the class.

That said, I agree with what you posted, and that they do need work.
