Reserved/VIP Slots

personally for me, i've been in queue behind at most 5 people (so im the 6th), and after derping around on facebook or whatnot, no more than 10 minutes later, im loading into the game and playing, even in the middle of a map, so i dont mind waiting but i will probably mind if someone were to kick me out since i joined last.....my $0.02


however, i do reccommend a short afk timer at least, that should help with queues a little bit

 

Pro-con is all you need if all the members have admin pro-con they can kick low scores or ones that have zero points. Plus it means an admin is almost always on. If you don't want all members to be able to ban I understand that. Use to be in a clan where every member was an admin. Doesn't seem that is wanted here but just a suggestion.

 

we did use procon but had severe issues, currently testing a secondary format that is fully web based.
as for admin, we usually grant it to those that show consistent appearances and are willing to follow the few simple rules we have in place.

 

I sit in the queue and wait like any normal player. I don't think it is right to kick players with low scores to let members in. Everyone has a right to play in the server even if they aren't the greatest player and or member. Any server I was kicked from to make room for members I have never gone back to.

 

I am assuming that members donate to the server. It's like a perk. If a member gives $10 or $20 a month or whatever, they should be able to join the server at any time, This is just my opinion. The server is a community server but still there for the members of the clan correct? I would rather play with another server regular or a NNG member before some pub who may come back or may not. I kind of look at it like taking care of family and friends first.


Using Pro-con you can say in a message "you may be kicked to make room for a NNG member", most gamers understand this especially the ones who are or have been a part of clan or guild.

Taking care of the family first is important, we all agree on that.

I may be wrong, but I think the most valuable thing to this community is a full server. We can talk all we want about map rotations, vehicle spawn times, team balance, and reserved slots, but none of it will matter if just you and I are sitting alone in the server with our feet in our dicks.

Right now we're ranked 452 in the world, and that's pretty damn good, but its down from 404 earlier this month. A lot of things can contribute to the rank, but its mostly just about how many hours of the day you can stay at capacity. If we were a top 100 server, I would strongly consider this, since we'd likely never be able to get into the damn thing. At this point though, the wait just isn't long enough, and our randoms are just too valuable to leave with a bad taste in their mouth after getting kicked for a member.

Perhaps I can incentivise seeding the way you suggest incentivising donations. THE MORE YOU SEED THE QUICKER WE'LL GET TO A RANK WHERE RESERVED SLOTS ARE A MUST!
