Quicky Basic TR info for those w new alts

Most likely you're sensitivity is too high. It takes me about 8-12 inches of movement depending on the weapon/vehicle to turn around. Another major reason could be resolution, graphics quality, and framerate that you use. I play the game at 2560x1440 resolution, 50+fps, and medium settings typically so I can see very small changes in recoil. Infantry combat feels like an entirely different game at 30 fps 1920 res and below. The TAR is almost identical to the H-V45, but with 10 more bullets, longer reload, and 13% more pull to the right. The CARV is is good, but still has more recoil than the SVA-88, no 0.75 ads, worse hipfire, and no softpoint. Side note: the Carv used to behave more like the MSW-R but was patched like 6 months ago in the major weapon balance pass.

 

It's mostly a L2P(positioning, awareness, and who gets the first shot off) and cert thing. Saron > Vulcan in most AV cases. Most players only pull HEAT because it's so good at solo farming infantry and are oblivious/don't care about armor. Default 2.5 sec reload time + about a third of a second to fire the second shot. Max reload speed and lockdown costs a few thousand certs and more than doubles the main cannon DPS output as well as adds 60% velocity to make it much easier to hit moving targets(the velocity helps so much that if I'm in a lockdown AP prowler and have terrain to shoot up, every single lib/gal in render is going to be shot within 2 seconds and nose down ESF are next).

If the prowler isn't already in lockdown, the person who gets the first shot off will usually win/force a retreat. The prowler's larger vertical hitbox is also more forgiving for judging the drop of the mag's cannon, and the mag can abuse the projectiles coming out of the camera and not the gun to hide behind a hill and clip shots through the terrain immune from return fire.

 

New bundle release last night on the website. Only 199 Station cash. This is good in particular for TR infiltrator cert gain because you already have a Repeater that can be equipped with a laser sight and silencer to assassinate single close range targets which makes the low ammo Armistice redundant. Having extra range with the NS7 compared to a Hailstorm is a good option and still allows you to tear through 3-4 people with 40 rounds in the NS7 and the fast equip time of the 21 round repeater.

You can use the SOE phone games to get 500 free SC in about 10minutes to get this, but I highly recommend doing so with temporary facebook/twitter account since their programs datamine them heavily for future spam ads.
