Hey, I've been having a few problems the last few days with C4. I've been trying to deploy C4 as a LA to take down maxes and vehicles, I've had a few kills and more deaths. A lot of my deaths have come from me trying to deploy C4 more than once and getting distracted. This is because whenever I try to deploy C4 I don't get any animation or visual confirmation, such as the players hand on the screen deploying the C4. Nothing happens so I don't know that I've already successfully deployed it. Very rarely will it show the soldier doing anything other than to be holding the detonator. Is this an issue with lag, dropped frames maybe, or has it always been like that? It's just annoying to die because you spend 5-10 secs running around with the detonator to some already planted C4 which you are still trying to use because you can't see any C4 rendered and didn't see the animation.
I haven't had any problems with not seeing c4 being placed, though I don't use it too much. I would guess that in crowded areas you might have some more troubles, but I really don't know. There is supposed to be a placing/tossing animation, so if you're not getting that I really don't know what the problem might be.
Not seeing the deployed c4 would be better if I saw the placing/tossing animation at least. I had some problems a while back where it wouldn't deploy if I tried it too fast, but now it appears to be a lot more reliable but I just don't know that it was successful.
I have the same issue, happens if you're moving to fast or looking up, there is an animation but it's not really visible,
I've had it happen when I wasn't looking up or trying to look anywhere. Moving too fast? But you have to move fast, gotta go fast!
