There is a lot of talk about this plane and it seems like everyone either loves it or hates it. I got mixed feelings about it because sometimes I do really well on it and sometimes I get owned to the point where I just want to stop playing. Either way, after watching this video, my confidence has been fully restored even tho I havnt touched the plane in a few weeks. The guy who made this video is a really good FRB pilot and he's got a lot of videos that people can learn from. Spend few minutes watching this one, it will show you what teamwork in the air is all about, especially in FRB.
I in particular love this plane, unfortunately its prone to being shot down very easily (made of glass) but its firepower is pretty incredible it BnZ's really well, I can only imagine when it is reworked next patch, how good it will actually be.
I'm surprised to hear that. In FRB its very durable and takes a lot of hits to kill it. Its like a bomber without the tailgunner.
Na man in arcade and Historical its slow and made of tissue paper fused with brittle glass. 1 tail shot and it goes down almost immediately. Quite sad considering that historically they were one of the most durable planes produced in the US.
I normally engage them at high altitudes on Fw190 and the chase begins. Even when I crit them, they still manage to retain speed on a dive really well. People usually BnZ on them and they're easy to spot. Their dot is about a size of A20G so getting on ones six is easy. Most of the time they don't even see me coming because I try to engage them from below but actually killing one is a bitch. Now when it comes down to actual fight, they turn way better than Fw190 and every single move u make is very smooth. It handles really well at high and low altitudes as long as you don't over do it and put it in a spin.
