I am excited to be building a new rig once again. Thanks to help with XEN we found some great parts that fit my budget. I wanted other critiques from other members and possible suggestions when it comes to Ocing.
I will explain my reasons for getting the parts etc, constructive criticism is welcome .

    Video Card- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202025

Xen and I went threw a bunch of them. I really did not want to spend 400-500 for a recent one. We decided to go with this because: it will run Planetside2 nicely and had the most bang for the buck.

    Memory- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233218

I actually got this with my motherboard. Xen and I both liked it and as a freebie saved me some money.

    Fan/heatsink- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

Upon his recommendation, I got this, it has great performance and should suite me well for an OC.

    PSU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040

I overlooked this. It has a Great price point for what it does. It's non-modular though( i have zip-ties) and
    should work well for me.

    SSD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171740
Not the best one but the price was amazing and I will have a 1tb WD for saving data.

    Motherboard- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157296
This is a solid mobo for the price. Xen actually thought it was a great choice for my budget( picked it on my own)came with free memory ( the one above). I could of gone better but I thought it was a great choice.

    CPU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504

The best one I could find in it's class(did research). Overclock friendly, great performance. Xen also thought this was a smart choice for my price range. coming from an I-7, I think a I-5 is better suited to run PS2.

    Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811322069

Huge price discount on this one. I picked it out due to good reviews, the price and it has plenty of room.

Overall I am happy, Xen saved me over 300 dollars in discounts, bundle packages and mail-in rebates.
Paid 811 msrp would of been around 1,200. I am also happy to retire my MAC from gaming. I have Two years to go for the warranty and feel with the Oc I am doing to it, it wont even last that long.

Good damn. I would have gone with the Nvidia 660ti. Best card in the $200-$300 bracket

Yup we both thought the same thing. however Xen found that card for (what I paid) 189$(sapphire), you can't beat that. MSRP is around 239. Had it not been on sale i would of went with that.

The CPU, Mobo, and Ram are the exact ones I just put into my computer. Let's put it like this, I'm playing Planetside 2 just fine now and my Graphics Card is 5 years old (Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512 OC). With a newer card like your's, you should be fine!

But I am saving up for a new Graphics Card because I like pretty things.

    Agreed with fred.

Ps2 will thrive on your new cpu/ram. The GPU still isn't heavily taxed in ps2.

I run a radeon 6850 at max settings with 30-40 fps average. The ONLY thing I had to turn down was textures because of the memory requirements I got some tearing. However with textures on HIGH instead of ULTRA it's flawless.
