You have no idea how happy I am to see this. (Oh wait, is that a bad thing? I usually unscope when I snipe)

 

its a good thing but now the people you kill will know where you are which takes away a lot from tactics

 

If they want ti make this game more accessible to newbies., they should make a tutorial that is actually helpful.

 

Is the locator thing an actual position of a shooter or an accurate arrow pointing to what way they shot you from?

Giving away your killer's location is one thing but letting you know what direction you let your guard down from is something else.

 

I do not know I haven't been on the pts

 

Higby said that they are changing it so that enemies will only be shown on the map if they are spotted and if not there is a small cone in the area of where the enemy was.

 

You have no idea how true this is. The learning curve of this game is pretty steep, and even if you're following a zerg, it's like throwing bodies off a cliff.

 

Also worth noting that those resistance changes ignores ESF weapons, the walker, and Basilisks, and that the weapons that use the Basi resistance type are the basi/drake/air hammer/ppa/banshee and Vektor. Unless they make changes, it's going to be fastest to take down another lib with the Vektor instead of the Tank buster.
