New Forum Features - Check Em Out!

User Tagging
If you want to tag a user, just plop the twitteresque "@" symbol in front of their name.

You'll have to match the user's name exactly. It will reference their user profile and create an auto hyperlink to that page and auto alert the user that they've been tagged in a post. Quite the nifty little add-on.

Here are some examples:

@Booneman42
@Roth

Signature Once
This one is pretty self explanatory. Each users signature will only appear once per thread. Having the signature appear on every post can become overbearing after a while and detracts from the forum's overall clean appearance. Current signature guidelines still apply.

SideBar Status
We now have a new Forum homepage sidebar that displays the latest status udpates from our user base. You can even update your status from this location. Keep those status updates clean! Unlike me. :p


Sticky Thread vs. Normal Thread Separation
Because I've always hated the look of tiny gold locks next to threads that are sticky'ed, I've instead opted for an alternate route. A space separation for each thread type with a small text header indicating which section is which. If my explanation is not doing it justice than that's my fault. Just go look at a few forum categories and you'll see.
