1: Bump: Threads can now be bumped without actually creating a reply to the thread. This bump button will "bump" a post back up to the top of the forum it is in. It can only be initiated by the user who has created the thread. Admins and Moderators can also bump posts. So what we have is the ability to bump without eating up additional forum storage with needless replies. 2: Bookmark: Registered forum members can now bookmark threads and posts that they find important or useful. Instead of creating book marks in your Chrome, Mozilla (and probably not IE) browsers, you can store your NNG favorites right here on the site. You can bookmark both threads and users profile posts. Clicking the option highlighted in the picture above will bring up the following prompt: You can add as many bookmarks as you want. To get to your bookmarks simply click the "Your Bookmarks" button in your user profile drop down: They then appear on your profile page: Hopefully this small feature/addition makes finding the posts that you frequent a little easier and will help keep relevant and meaningful posts more active instead of having them fall off the "Recent Threads" sidebar. But if they do, feel free to bump them. Thanks yawl
Also, you will receive an alert on the forum if a bookmarked thread or post is edited, deleted or moved. Alerts that are triggered by replies will remain separate from bookmark alerts. If you want to receive alerts for threads that get replied to you should "Watch" that thread.
