One of the guys over at BFO posted gameplay from day one of the open beta. Looks like it could be pretty cool...
I want to get excited for this so bad, but the gameplay videos always let me down... I mean I know he has a super suit, but damn if that SMG doesn't look and feel like an airsoft gun.
So I tried it out. Still meh... I tried the map called Airport in both a cap the flag type mode and a mode called hunter. While the maps look nice, I dont think the game touches BF3.
I tried it as well. I stand corrected on the gun mechanics, but it still just feels a bit weird and gimmicky with all the suit upgrades. I'll probably play the SP one way or another, but seems like another disposable MP shooter.
I like the idea of using the environment to your advantage... Other then that, it's TDM with a slight Conquest feel to it... give me this in a big ass map with a bunch of vehicles, and then it could get interesting. Hmmm... wonder if I want DICE to make freaking BF 2143 already!
