Couple of Questions -

Hello NNG,

I play Vanu on Waterson in a dying outfit and have a series of awkward conditions with my current situation in Planetside. I'll lay them all out here in a list:

• I'm an alpha squad member, but I took a break on my main character and now my alpha squad boost ran out before I hit level 20.
• I'm currently a level 30 infiltrator focused player, and unlocked a fair number of weapons the infiltrator can use with station cash (due to that obscene SC christmas sale a year or so ago). As such, most of my weapons will transfer servers with me.
• I want to reroll to get my alpha squad boost back.
• I am dissatisfied with most of the outfits on Waterson. My outfit is very small, and the others on the server don't seem to suit my needs.
• I watch mustarde's videos a great deal and saw that he mentioned nononsensegamers.com on his videos. This piqued my interest.

So in short I want to hop over to mattherson and join up with you guys. If I joined up I'd be rerolling as a level 1, but with oodles of guns and an alpha squad boost. I couldn't find anything about joining the planetside division on the website, so if this is the wrong channel of communication just point me in the right direction and I'll fill out whatever you need.

I play pretty much daily unless I have schoolwork that needs doing. My experience with shooters is pretty diverse. I got really pubstompy as the spy in TF2, played the shit out of the infiltrator and pathfinder in Tribes Ascend, played some EVE Dust 514 here and there, and got marginally good at Quake. As for PS2 I'm trying to get better at flying but mainly focus on being a backstabbing infiltrator. That is, I don't snipe all that much, I prefer to get behind enemy lines and unload with an SMG, drop a guy or two and then disappear for a moment. I CAN snipe, but I need quite a bit more practice and patience.

Just a question, what outfit did you roll with on Wateson ? No we aren't going to run over there and question them about you, Im just curious because I know of a lot of decent outfits that roll on Wateson.

 

Quantum Dawn was the outfit I ran with.

Wow QD is dying? They were one of the larger outfits with Zaps and Xen. I wish you luck on your app to NNG. You wouldnt be the first to reroll and join us

 

Yea, the most I've seen online at one time in the past few months is like 15, and even then they weren't even all squading together. I had a lot of fun with them, but waterson just feels so slow these days. I've made more progress in the last two days on mattherson than I did in a week on waterson. NC has a pretty consistent 5-10% overpop there.

@Mustarde - I watch the hell out of your videos man. You're unreal. I've played infiltrator for most of my PS2 time and I'm floored by how good you are. I'm taking notes. Also I like your VS name, I lol'd.

That said, after watching that match against TRG last night, I'm impressed by the lot of you, especially your air division. Solid work all of you, I hope to improve my game to that level in the coming months. You all inspire me.
