Hi, I haven't played Planet Side 2 yet, and I was wondering if it's too late to start, or if it's new player friendly and it doesn't matter I don't have many upgrades and stuff. And is it required to play on US servers to play together with you guys, or can I also do that from a EU server? As I live in the EU, a EU server would be preferable for my ping times. Thanks!
Honestly Planetside 2 is not new player friendly, you have to earn cert points to upgrade your equipment and with that being said you start off the game with 0 cert points and 0 pieces of equipment upgraded. Running wit squads and platoons that know what they are doing helps but its hard until your equipment starts seeing upgrades. If you wish to play with NNG you need to be on the US server Mattherson. You can play on an EU server, but it wont be with us. To get the tags you need to apply to the divisions, once you apply, you are on a trial period, it will all depend on your activity, how well you follow the rules and how you get along with everyone. Honestly, activity will be whats looked at the most.
yep what he said! and we will help you in War thunder even if you new, they will as well in PS2 and Jaam does a good job with tips and strategy.
I just started with WT in November, but I'm a seasoned fighter pilot in other games I think I'll skip Planetside 2 then, server lag and not starting player friendly is not what I'm looking for.
i wouldnt worry about tags like i have two as most people do but them jaam ghost and boone have everything (even though they dont play half the games)
Planetside 2 is free to play so you would not be out anything but time if you downloaded the game and checked it out. Its the only game I play and I enjoy it still to this day after playing for over a year now. I still get my butt kicked, as the game is made so that no one has more than a 20% advantage over any other player (or so the devs said a long time ago). So as a BR100, my weapons should at no time be more than 20% better then yours, even though I have put many hours into the game. They do that to keep it fair, and as you can tell by my kill to death ratio, the devs have done a very good job of keeping the game as balanced as possible. In Planetside 2, Money cant help you win much. Money can help you get cool looking gear, but what you really need are called Certs and you can only get Certs by playing the game.
