I just wanted to thank the officers for dedicating their time to organizing things and running the squads.
I think that last night I've had more fun than I ever did in this game.
We were able to totally own everything anywhere we went and had a lot of fun at the same time.
Loving the idea of separate TS channels. We were able to be productive and take teamwork to the whole new level.
Between killing things and joking around we were able to accomplish a lot and not be stressed out about it.
There was no exessive chatter in TS and we heard everything that needed to be heard from the leaders.

I know that the officers have been working very hard on putting this together and it didnt seem like there was ever a shortage of people who'd willing to lead the squads either.

One thing I would like to suggest for our Galaxy drops, or may be more than one :)
I did pull my gally last night a few times when we needed it and there were few things that we can improve on.
Besides being a transport, Gally can always be usined as a flying fortress, we all know that but we never use it.
When we have a squad dropping on the objective, it would be great if we had 1 or 2 people stay inside and get on the wing and the top turret.
For my Galaxy I got the Walkers for top and back and Bulldogs for sides (duhhhh, I know, the choices were rather limited) which means that when we have 2 or 3 Galaxies flying around, we will have AA and A2G support.
IMO In no shape or form the Squad Leader should be piloting. SL should be dropping a beacon instead.
    Just my 2c :)

I know I'm really pretty new to this game, but I do agree about the Gals being underutilised. The problem I see with it, though, is the ammount of annihilator spam that we run in to these days.
In the last 4-5 days I'm sure that even as a primarily inf payer I've died more often to those things than anything else.
But, hey, it's a gal... if it gets too shot up you can always bail out with no penalty.

I do see one problem though. Whomever is still in the gal may not get the cap points. And while I personally am prepaired to give up on some cap points so we actually DO cap the point, if it ends up the same handfull of people losing out each time human nature may come into play. :)

Actually you do get the cap points while hovering over the base thats being capped and pilots know when to dip in for points too, other wise they would miss out as well so if you didnt get the cap points while gunning for a Galaxy, blame it on your pilot.

I think I played Sunday night after the meeting, and it was like a dream come true. The change was immediately noticeable, I feel like we're more coordinated and effective. I'm looking forward to playing on serious ops night. If we keep it up, we'll be unstoppable!

i'm a big fan of the new TS set up as well, i know it was something that had been talked about for quite some time and had met some resistance, but it simply just works. For the few who really enjoy the mass rooms of people chatting they can go to the casual room, but I prefer not wanting to yell STFU every 10 min because i can't hear tactical info.

I also like the idea of playing with the same people more often, it will be nice to get to know people's play style and what they have dumped their points into. I'm sure it will be helpful for the SL, that after a while, to know that so-and-so has a battle sunder or he's/she's got medic fully decked out

Great point about the gals. I had so much fun last night playing late into the night and using the TS chat. I just joined on Friday and I had so much fun working with people who actually play as a team, something I had trouble finding before. Hoora

Right now, its just the beginning, and so far so good, we still have a lot of refining to do on the system. I am glad that people are happy up to this point, and please keep bouncing these ideas off of us, we will take them into consideration.
There are no stupid ideas, only stupid people who keep them to themselves
