Planning Launch Certs

I think I'll spend my SC on a heavy assault pulsar since that's where I get the most kills, and after that definitely a liberator secondary gun. Because it feel to nice to rain down death from above.

 

I've been playing with engineer for the past few days and am loving it.

It's a Exp bomb, Kills, Repairs, Resupply. So much exp resupplying.

Engy is my new favorite class. I have not decided what armor I want to get yet. Nanoweave is meh, Grenade ehh not really, Utility pouch looks good and flack armor does to or Adv shield.

I'll be doing heavy too/ SL too.

 

I REALLY want to stick with Infil as my focus but the removal of the Shotgun has really killed the supa-fun of the class. The scout rifle is basically a 20 round carbine with a bit more accuracy. meh.

 

when i joined, i though i was gonna be a Galaxy pilot, [leaf on the wind, guys.] but since there's no way to practice that unless you dump points into cooldown, and if you crash, you've got up to 12 angry dudes after you, i dunno. i enjoy most of the classes, honestly. i just got prox mines, still haven't learnt to properly place them yet, but they seem fun. i usually go heavy because of the large mag size, and to help with tanks. max's aren't as awesome as i thought they were gonna be. the default gun takes just as many hits to kill a trooper as a regular AR it seems, so that sucks. i'll probably be hanging out in whoever has the Saron on their Mag, possibly lib gunner once people learn to trust me. and no. i will not be driving a sundie. you guys are safe. =p

 

Veicles: Definitely Scythe and Magsurfer. Might dump a few into Liberator, I love flying it and gunning with the Dalton. The 6 shot bomber is OK, but I find more destruction with the Dalton, if you can aim.

Infantry: IMPOSSIBRU MAXXX, Engi, and maybe the Infiltrator. It can be really fun sneaking in and cappin' fools in the face with a pistol. The EMP will be my best friend. A 4 man squad with EMP & squad beacon can probably take a lightly guarded base while being heavily outnumbered. I was running with Jaamaw the other day and he EMP'd a MAX and I knifed him, it was fucking glorious.

Galaxy like a mother fucker. I'm gonna be dropping bitches like it's hot. Kowlefe knows. I can get in pick him and his squad up like a boss and get them out safe. Flak armor for the win.

I tried to play around with each class/vehicle as much as I could. It's all so fun, it's hard to decide. Like, light assault... I didn't think I'd enjoy that at all, but I took out a Vanguard by dropping on it and plopping down some C4 the other day... SO satisfying. Still, I think my main focuses will be infiltrator, Lightning, and Scythe.

I'm a little disappointed that C4 is certed per-class, instead of being universal like the grenade certs.

While I mostly "get it" from a gaming perspective, there's something humorous to me about how this would read in the Lore.

"Alright, you're all certed up to use and carry C4, Doc!"
"Great! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna grab this NAK, I hear our armor is really taking a beating at Jeager's. . . I suppose some C4 might help if I stumble across the enemy Sunderer"
"Whoooooa whoa whoa whoa. Cool your jets, son."
"Sarge?"
"You can't carry C4 and a NAK! You haven't been trained!"
"But. . . you just told me. . . "
"Well, sure, with your medi-tool. But C4 and a NAK? Forget it son, come back when you have more experience out in the field"
"Alright, fine, forget the NAK - I'll just grab a rocket launcher with my C4"
"Son, I don't think you're listening. You're only allowed to use the C4 if you're also carrying a medi-tool"
