Counter-Strike, Battlefield players and tactical play fans out there... This post is for you!

Please vote after reading the following proposition. (*had)

I see a lot of NNG applicants mention CS in other games they play (3 pages of those). I've been looking around for a nice hacker-free server to play CSGO detonation (5v5 or something with a nice map rotation), but I have yet to find anything even close to that. No nonsense is what I'm looking for. I bet I'm not alone who's turned off by hackers, or potential of, and no-life pros farming every casual servers out there...

While I need a lot of practice with my aim, I tend to play Expert bots (still pretty easy since some patch). I hate playing alone, but at least there's not hacker in the server (just aimbotters I had a lot of fun playing Ragequit and NNG on BF4, but that was shortlived. I'm willing to bet BF4 players would be interested in some tactical play in CSGO - none of this pub rushing crap. With our TS3, we could have a lot of fun with ops play, or just casual!

Would you guys be interested in a CSGO server? Or division (no clue how those get started)?

If it's not too expensive, I would even be happy to host the server myself / with a friend / with a volunteer - e.g. if someone has a machine where I could install and manage the server... It would be a clean Detonation, 5v5, 8v8 or 10v10 (whatever we can keep alive), hidden or password protected server only for NNG players and friends. I would also get modified bots in there so that they would not be easy and boring for people playing a partially filled server.

I know few read the forums, but if you are interested, please vote AND spread the word on TS3. I would love to make this happen, but don't want to waste my time and money for nothing either.

Why CS when we have Planetside 2. Go into the biolab and you will get all the infantry action you need

 

Hehe, my main game is PS2, but honestly, I can't stand biolabs, and would love to see some balanced tactical play. It's like me asking you "Why do you play Warthunder when you can fly in PS2?". :P

In terms of hardcore and somewhat realistic tactical play, there's no way PS2 can compare to CS's very low ttk and spawn system. Once you're dead, you're dead for the round. It's a true squad vs squad game, especially when people communicate - not like in pub games.

Plus, I'm not suggesting that we just play CS - as many here already do - I'm suggesting a hacker-free environment, with regulars to play with and opportunity to casually play with competitive-like comms using our TS3.

 

War Thunder is a simulator type of a game and CS isn't. I think for sim infantry play, you'd want to play Arama.

Everyone has played CS over the years and yes and I think that COD gets the same type of game mode only with better graphics right? I get it tho, playing on a hacker free server is always great and for tactical play, well, you can use tactics in any game

I feel bad that CS has lost some of it's flavor over the years and hackers totally destroyed it for many players, including myself.
