Alright for those who don't know me... where have you been the past 2 weeks? I've been wanting to make planetside 2 videos (or other video games) for awhile ,but I wanted a group in order to make them more enjoyable because I find the game more enjoyable for me to be chatting with other people. So I wanted to make a group of people to record videos/ stream just because we can. These videos wont be tactical or anything like that, I would rather a video be more like what we talk about when we are playing casual rather than ops. I find myself having more fun with you guys when we talk about the most random things. So basically what I need is people who will want to do something like this. I need people who just want to do this because it is what they enjoy, not for "youtube fame" and all that stuff. I need people who are funny or just enjoyable to talk to (must be talkative.). My computer can handle recording and/or streaming, but I need at least 1 other person who can do either one of those (or both). This will not be ran by the outfit or anything like that. If Jaamaw wants us to promote the outfit in some way with this I would have no problem with that, but I am assuming he would need to approve the content or something. The goal of this little experiment is to make videos and have fun doing it. Nothing serious and just wanting to have a good time while also bringing outfit members closer. So if this sounds interesting to you or you know you want to try and be apart of something that goes a little beyond the game then leave a comment bellow of: 1) Why you think you would be good at something like this. 2) Why you want to do this. 3) Any special skills that relate (i.e video editing, can make screen animations, etc.) Take your time with this, questions are a little vague, this will help me make a group and see who would fit well with it. As for times we would record and such, whenever people are on. There is no schedule for this and will be whenever we feel like it pretty much Hopefully some people have an interest in this. 1) I like to have fun. Simple as that. 2) Same as above. Games are meant for fun and any way to get videos out proving that would be good. 3) None to be honest other than my randomness. Those "skills" are things anyone can do with research and the goal to learn so if need be, i can look into how to do video editing. I'd like to do this but I will not fill out some form to an essay's worth per question. It ruins the fun knowing that I am applying for such a thing. The best thing would be to just play and record and take little tid bits that you find to be enjoyable much like many famous youtubers, they all started with just the group of people they played with and went from there.
problem with that is most of the time when we play its some type of ops. The other day we had less than a squad of people and were told to be quiet because we were attacking a base or something like that. So it gets hard to record anything when things like that happens. This group would make it easier so that the people who want to participate can go to a different channel or something to not be interrupted. And I didn't expect it to be an essay, just whatever you guys feel appropriate to put there, it is basically just something to get to know you guys a little more. I would be good because I can run the game on max settings (i73770k & GTX680), I have experience in photography (its my hobby outside of PS2), I have an eye for good shots, and I just want to do something that supports NNG and the game in general. I want to do it because I want to promote the game to people that have never played the game, or are new to the game. I want to do it to help get the NNG name out there and build our ranks. If used for training, I would like to be a part of something that makes NNG better. I have experience in-game including flying (160+hours in Libs), driving, gunning, shooting, and much more.
So long as I get to have fun while doing stupid stupid things I'm in! The bloopers and awkward situations we get into are more than enough I think, there have been so many times where I've been thinking "Damn, if only I had been recording it". Need to setup my recording stuff, I'll do it sometime over the weekend.
