The Pulsar LSW is by far the best (statistically) and most versatile LMG available to the Vanu. Sure you may like the Orion, which is 2nd best, or the SV-88. But avoid the flare. It is probably the worst LMG you can cert into and SOOOOOOO many people fall into the trap. They see the Super High damage output of the Flare but it doesn't match up to the brutality of the LSW, Orion, or SV-88. I would rather use the Ursa, with HV ammo, In super close range, (which those who mainline the Heavy will understand the sillyness of that comment.) than even just look at the Flare.

    'nuff said.

See him head shot that infiltrator on the tower? Boy he makes it look easy. I notice in cqc he starts shooting to the left of his opponent and let the recoil take the spray up to the head.

I think its time to give my medic a rest and try out the heavy. Thanks for the post

What scope would you put on it if you were so inclined. The Reflex x2 standard and for long shots????

Personally I have every attachment. but I usually use the Reflex 1x (ALWAYS), HS/NV (night), 4x marksman scope (if engaging from afar.) I usually only use the Flash Suppressor at night but sometimes when we're doing ninja stuff I'll pop it on so as not to be too obvious. and I use a fore-grip.

I love this gun. I don't think I could ever say enough good things about it. Trialled it and bought it right after using it. Sometimes I fall into the trap of laying down on the trigger and trying to control, but bursting in 6-10 shot bursts is great. At medium ranges it usually goes like this for me hit-hit-hit-hit-miss-miss-miss relax, stop shooting for a second, hit-hit-kill.

Foregrip attachment is perfect for it and just use whatever optics you like as it seems to work well at any range.

I also haven't looked back since i got it, and the foregrip is a must for it.

Looks like a good purchase, haven't really touched Heavy much, guess it's time to give it a try.

I'll have to give it a try. I really like its low recoil, slightly reduced rate of fire (which is a good thing when you start hitting higher RPMs), and the fact that the recoil pulls to the right more.

On an unrelated note, the Ursa is great too. It's NC equivalent (the GD-22S) is known for its high accuracy and controllable recoil. It's my go-to gun for quick engagements at mid-to-long ranges. If you want a hard hitting, pretty accurate NC-style weapon, the Ursa is fantastic. Just remember its meant to ADS.

    EDIT: Grammars
