This is a direct copy paste of the ticket i sent to SOE:

My newly submitted ticket after my first inquiry was immediately responded/closed.

My earlier ticket about the blueshift was closed and I would like to inquire as to how you have answered:

Response GM Gunver via Email 12/15/2012 08:32 PM :
    {Excerpt from Gunver's response}
When your In-game description reads exactly as follows:

"The Lightweight vm5 blueshift anti-infantry weapon was designed to provide increased ACCURACY over the standard issue vm1."

    -------------------

Somewhere we have a discrepancy in SOE's intended design and the actual virtual product (Blueshift) in question.

I have researched this even further to figure out exactly what traits the weapon might possess and found not only do my practical test in game show a false description, but also data mined by a 3rd party from the most recent patch highlighting a false description.

    Link to file: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AuOojvNLMApVdEtIU1NKenEzNzZOSWNaanFqSUVxLWc&gid=2

    Data shown:
    Quasar:
    125 damage
    6.25 rounds/sec (1.28s TTK)
    Mag: 50 rounds
    Accuracy: CoF 1 - 2.5(lower is better)

    Nebula:
    143 damage
    6.67 rounds/sec (1.04s TTK)
    Mag 50 rounds
    Accuracy: CoF 1.5-3

    Cosmos:
    167 damage
    5.61 rounds/sec
    Mag: 75 rounds (1.07s TTK)
    Accuracy: CoF 1 - 2.5

    Blueshift
    167 damage
    5.81 rounds/sec (1.03s TTK)
    Mag: 40 rounds
    Accuracy: CoF 1.75 - 7

The Blueshift surprisingly has lower accuracy, by a lot, than all the others. Not sure if this is a bug nor not but again this is real data extracted from the latest patch AND confirmed by firing these 3 weapons at a wall and observing the spread.

Another excerpt from the same response by GM Gunvar:

I purchased the Blueshift in hopes of having an accuracy bonus and instead have paid for the opposite of what was represented by S.O.E. and the developers in the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.

Gunvar proceeded to explain to me I could NOT receive a refund and more importantly corrected me on the actual weapons stats that are falsely advertised in store.

Excerpt from Gunvar's same response :

I am very unhappy with the developer's malicious intentions to offer what would obviously be a DIRECT upgrade from the VM1 QUASAR knowing this weapon would be highly sought after due to the standard anti-infantry quasar having poor accuracy performance.

Please provide me with either an SC refund for the BLUESHIFT and acknowledge that it is not working as intended or misrepresented in game.

I strongly feel this is not a mistake the customer is at fault for. Had I been properly informed of the product I was purchasing in your store I would have spent the EXCLUSIVE virtual currency in line with my wants as a consumer.

You've made an amazing game and I am not here to take advantage of it nor be taken advantage by it or the player's that surround me. I take those who cheat others just as seriously as Mr. Smedley

Shitty man. I did buy the Cosmos (L&R) and it is a great gun. I only buy guns that I have real-world information on, from other people that have them and used them for a period of time to get a solid review. Hope they do something for you.

    Update:

Got a full SC refund for my blueshift and got to keep the weapon. SCORE SOE!

No acknowledgement on whether they intend to change the description or match the weapon to it.. one step forward and another back..

Buddy of mine rolled back charges for a 50 dollar game and 6 months of subscription at 12 bucks a month by calling visa and disputing charges of the game lying and not delivering what was advertised, burned a bridge with that company so he wouldn't be able to use his credit card with them again, but he wanted to make a point.
