whats about some : -Adaptive tickets count (adjust the number of tickets based upon the number of players on the server) -Map vote
Already got Adaptive. Gotta configure it. Just had GameServers install it the other night. Down for mapvote as long as players don't vote to change the map just because their team is losing. Hmmm...
To be honest I don't care for map vote. Variety is the spice of life. i remember playing de_dust for DAYS because there was a bunch of supposedly bad-ass AWPers who liked the sight lines. The other bad thing that happens is a clan/platoon will load up the server and force their way on other people. AND it just leads to more whining and bitching in game. Yeah, this post is a whine/bitch, BUT IT'S NOT IN GAME. i'm not sure how adaptive tickets would work. In my experience when there's a small number of players the game goes faster since it takes longer to bring down caps (getting there, one person at cap, etc.). Now what would be NICE in my opinion would be an adaptive plugin that chose the large or small version of the next map in rotation based on player count. THAT would be great.
You sound like every other systems programmer I've had work for me or had to depend on for something.
