I almost feel like its kinda pointless playing this now seeming how in 16 days everything I have been accumulating will get washed away. :frown:

p.s. There is some armor upgrade for the combat medic thats supposed to make it so you take less damage, put it to tier 3/5. Does not seem to make a damn difference.

 

It's totally possible. Every once in a while populations will shift and maybe one faction will be "dead" that night with little organization and only zerg. All it takes is one or two organized outfits to take a continent that no enemy outfits are paying attention too. Look at the way Esamir is now, sometimes it just gets neglected and nobody goes there. I'm sure things will be much different once there is a full population and several continents, but it'll still happen occasionally.

This is more likely to happen at random times like noon, or 8am when the common pool of players is not playing. This won't happen as easily at 9pm when it's prime time for all outfits.

 

Yeah, when this game goes live we should fine a low pop continent to farm xp / certs for a while.

 

For real, Certs are going to be boss in this game. I spent the $40 on the Alpha squad so I'm half considering just buying the weapons/stuff I want rather than trying to cert up to it. You gain certs so slowly... Gotta spruce up my Magrider somehow. I wonder if they'll let you "Buy" stuff on opening day? So theoretically I could buy every weapon in the game on the first day.... Sony would love that, cha ching!

 

I'm going to beef up my Scythe with 30x sniper rifles, nitrous oxide boost systems and an invisibility cloak!

 

I'll strap mine with a snow plow and go Mowwing b*tches! I love flying really low and running people over and laughing at them!
