Is there a calender that I'm unaware of? I didn't know we had outfit meetings.

Do the Alpha, Charlie, Delta, etc squads have some significance? I just join what ever squad I see open on the open Outfit ingame server.

Do we have training nights? I just thought we just logged in and played.

Before I quit NC and came here I was with an outfit run by some military guys and we had a couple of nights a week where we ran exercises, ie:

    - specialized air infantry armor infiltator
    - we'd practice air maneouvers, dog fighting, wingmen etc
    - our dedicated air squad would support our ground efforts
    - we'd send infiltrators in to gather intel before we sent in our main force
    - we'd use real military lingo ie: Tango at your 12
    - Outfit camo - everyone had the same uniform - very cool
    - practice infantry tactics holding/taking choke points etc
    - target practice where we'd try different guns on each other seeing exactly how much dmg and accuracy each gun had, feed back on different attachments, amo etc etc

This outfit was extremely highly organized and TIGHT. When we moved, we all moved. There would be Sundy's and or Gals waiting. An officer would say "Load the Sundy in the loading dock, we are leaving in 1m." None of this every man for himself, people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, getting run over by armor, Sundys leaving with only a driver, passing Max's jogging for miles.

IF we got wiped out on an attack we would hold until everyone respawned to attack again at the same time.

Just throwing this out there :0)

NNG members can view recordings, otherwise you need to be there in person or get it from a member. Every sunday 8:30-9:30

Please dont misconstrue my thread as being critical of the guild. Occasionally I hear in TS "Alpha Squad bonus" this and that and then talk of a meeting. I'd like to participate as much as I can in Outfit activities but the only place I can find anything formal is this single topic in the forum. Is there any source of information regarding the Outfit that I'm missing out on, like a calender some place, or we just have an Outfit meeting 8:30-9:30 EST?

    Thanks for the replies.

We could just set up a google calendar and post/embed it into a webpage. This would be a nice layout that everyone could have easy access to.I've done it before on various projects and it's supremely easy to edit online or through any Android phone (don't know about iPhone). It also integrates nicely into the Thunderbird e-mail client (which I'm personally a fan of).

I set up an example one here for us and added a few events.

    https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=bl4is2eajhekn8te0unu229c7s@group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York

Obviously that URL can be shortened and it can be embedded if the person posting can use HTML in their post. Notice you can't edit anything with the link. Only authorized people could edit events.

There's a calender built into this web site. Check out "Events" at the top of the page. We just need to use it for things like outfit meetings and special training.

Also, I was thinking that the platoon could goof off in one TS channel and then have set times to "Commence Operations" when we'd get serious.

....and thanks for the heals and rez's!

Jaam posts in the PS2 main when there is a meeting coming up but I doubt he will have an issue posting in the events area
