Well thanks to the Tea Party and the deaf democrats, our government will most likely default. What does that mean? Well if you're not a federal employe you'll be fine. At the END of the November Federal Subsidies, Benefits, etc will take a hit.

if you rely on anything from he Government you're screwed Beyond that. Hopefully ti doesn't get to that point.

My comments would be non forum appropriate in the direction of our President. The whole country is fucked. Luckily there are a lot of good looking candidates for the 2016 run. Christie, Paul, to start. The pendulum needs to start swingng back in the other direction before our president and his staff shit on our constitution any further.

 

Hopefully I'm only in this country for a little longer. Then off to somewhere in Europe!

The Fed needs to be cleaned out. Our Govt should be comprised of average people that want nothing but the best for their families & country. Power should be given back to the states. Federal level govt should be nothing more then defending us from invasion and keeping the union together. EVERYTHING else should be handled on the state and local levels.

I was referring to Rand. Ron won't run again. Unfortunately... I think he's a brilliant man. He could have put the country on a path to being fixed. But our current politicians have made careers for themselves and they don't want someone like that in office. It's amazing that they put their own personal livelihood before the betterment of the country. I like Rand. Everything he says makes sense to me and he's a constitutionalist like his father. That is what this country was founded on and it's what we need again.

Other countries laugh at how our government is fucking us. It's embarrassing and even with 'voting' there is very little we can do about it.

With the consolidation of huge corporations and fallout via reduction of jobs from those consolidations, paired with the rapid depletion of social security and the overuse and abuse of government provided systems like welfare, section 8 housing, foodstamps and unemployment by people who never intend to 'get back on their feet' again, I think we're completely and totally ass fucked. The baby boomers bred an entire generation of materialistic, narcissistic, lazy slouches who want nothing more than to lounge and suck on the government teet for the rest of their lives. That generation will vote for whichever president gives them more. Look at Obama. But what they don't realize is that in the 'now' they can sit leg up and watch Jerry Springer all day on the American dime but soon all the hand outs will be gone and then we'll really be struggling. Like REALLY struggling.

 

I think they need to kill themselves, and let the robots take over.

I have not known a person to go on welfare that did not lie about their financial status.
My family was on Wic for 10 months. We did not lie, when my wife went back to work, we stopped using the program. We called the Wic office to tell them to deactivate the card and were told not to worry about it, just let it expire. At the Wic office, it was not uncommon to see a person drive up in a luxury car or SUV to use the program.
The program managers were very pushy on us to keep using the program. We were called 4 times after we requested to be removed from the program by people asking us to return for more benefits.
I wish the government would be thouorghly checking for fraud waste and abuse like the IRS checks the people for taxes.

Imo in order to be a politician you must also have a degree in a science..
