I still havent gotten my shirt
Guess I'll get in on this for the sake of...boredom!
Mike, 25 (I think, lost track a few years back..) I live in Montana...land of big blue skies and cold ass winters I'm a News Director at KFBB..bout all I got really, I lead a super secret exciting life that I can't really tell anyone about..
I honestly made an effort to read through all of this, but after page 17 I just decided you are all some ...interesting people.
Anyway, my name is Chris. I'm 29 and I currently live just outside of Nashville Tennessee. I work as a welder, and I'm actually fortunate enough to know what i smell like when cooked. I'd probably eat me. I smell delicious!
I'm only dangerous in game if I've been drinking, which is often enough that you should just assume that I'm dangerous and redeploy out of fear. There is no shame in it. It's just simple self-preservation.
I'm named after my motorcycle which, judging by the pics on here, is the only non-gixxer in the clan (again, I only made it to page 17). I'm not a fan of Japanese sports bikes as I value style over cheap speed ( *ducks*). Yours might be faster from A to B, but mine'll get me laid along the way! I'll post pics when I bother to give it a bath. Both me and the bike, that is!
I stopped playing shooters after CoD4 mostly because modern warfare 2 took a sharp turn for the stupid. BF4 is my incredibly shitty return to shooting 12 year olds, and apparently the 12 year olds learned to shoot back while I was gone. It's somewhat uncomfortable.
Anyhow, if I've somehow offended you we can hash it out on the BF4 servers. I'll set fire to all that you love and probably myself in the process. It's how it goes. I'm like that monk in the '60s, but with no conviction. I keep putting the fires out!
My real name is Josh, I am 24 years old. I Live in Michigan, USA. I'm in my last year at Baker College. When I graduate I will have a Associates in Computer Networking, and Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I have no clue what ill be doing after college.
I have been playing video games my entire life, started back in the NES days. I don't really remember what my first game was, but I loved the TMNT series on NES. I love playing MMOS, usually its MMORPGs but I haven't been able to find any great ones recently. I do play BF4 on PC, and now also started up War Thunder. I'm willing to look into Star Citizen, but really have no idea what that game is about.
I found NNG because I have been wanting to play Planetside 2 much more then with my friends. I hope to continue to play games here, as the first impression of the guild was great.
My name is Ryan. I am a 28 year old Staff Sergeant in the US Army and am currently living in Augusta, GA. My MOS, or job, in the army is 35Q, Cryptologic Network Warfare Specialist, or something along those lines... I helped build the MOS over the last five years and they've changed the name about twenty times... I have a specific sub-job which I absolutely love called "Interactive Operator". Take from that what you will as that is about all I can say on the subject.
I started playing video games back on the NES. I never owned one but I would go and play at my friends house. Eventually, we got SNES which I played whenever I got a chance. My first online computer game was the original Rainbow Six. This was the same game where I earned my online name. I joined a clan called Sniper Clan which specialized in using long arms over carbines and SMGs. They had a unique naming convention where every members name would be Sniper followed by their registration number. Since I was the sixty-first member, I was Sniper_61. After we reached 100 members, the name became Sniper_061. After that game died out, I kept the name but removed the underscore as most online forums and game sites would not allow an underscore in your username.
Other games I currently play:
Battlefied 4: Love it but I'm mainly a solo player as I like to only play for a round or two at most. The game is also not in a state where it can really be played competitively.
MechWarrior Online... but not so much anymore, it has a bad dev team and seems to just be spinning its wheels.
EVE Online: I've been playing this pretty much since late beta. It is an on again and off again affair. I tend to play it hard for six to eight months and then put it away for a few months.
DayZ: Played a bit during the mod but just started with the standalone.
Besides playing video games, my other main hobby is HAM radio. I'm certified as an Amateur Extra class operator (highest level license) and get on HF when I can. It's hard to do considering I live in an apartment complex, but sometimes on the weekend I will sneak outside at 2AM and clamp a 16 foot tall vertical antenna to the fence surrounding our pool area. The antenna is portable and collapses like a tent pole to about a foot and a half long for those of you wondering. I'm proud to say I've been doing this for over a year now and I've only gotten one strange look from a neighbor!
Haven't did this yet so what the hell might as well
My name is Michael or mike Aka VSDerp im 23 years old and born and raised in tampa fl.I been a console gamer most of my life until bf3 came out. and loving every min of this pc gaming experience. but honestly im not really good at these things lol but here a pic of me. think it was time for me to be more open
My real name is Rick. I am 52 years old and live near Birmingham, AL. My better half, Mrs. Valrimor, calls me the grey-bearded geek. I've been into computers and computer gaming ever since I learned how to save code on cassette tapes for my old Commodore 64. That said, I am not what one would consider a "hard core" gamer. It is just my favorite leisure activity.
My brother-in-law and I have a property preservation / handyman business. We maintain foreclosed houses for banks and realtors, as well as doing projects for homeowners. This keeps me pretty busy, so my gaming time is limited. I do manage to get some playtime in later in the evenings between 9:00 and midnight on most nights though.
I joined NNG to start squadron play in War Thunder. I absolutely love the game. My dogfighting skills leave something to be desired, so I figured that joining a squadron would be a great way to play and learn...especially learn...with like-minded people.
So, I downloaded and installed TeamSpeak last night and joined up. I want to thank Glissen and Highlander for making me feel right at home on my first night by showing me the ropes for TeamSpeak and taking me out on my first squadron runs. Even though I didn't get many kills, I am already learning new things and playing in a squad is a blast compared to playing alone. Thanks again gentlemen.
The other games I play currently are Skyrim and WGT Online Golf, so War Thunder will be the only game I'll be playing here...for now. I do have World of Tanks installed on my machine, but I got tired of getting my ass handed to me, so I haven't played in quite a while.
Looking forward to seeing you guys in the skies and perhaps in other games down the road.
ANY TIME, Great games last night, lots of fun and I think TAWA squadron doesnt like us very much.
I guess I never did this, Real name Scott, native Texan that moved to Nebraska for better weather . I am part owner of a New car franchise in Grand Island NE. I have played online games since the first Microsoft Combat flight sim, 98? I fought MMa for 3 years before it was popular. Now I hurt in places that shouldn't hurt. I like Scotch and PRime RIb and Teddy Grahams Chocolate( don't fuck with my Teddy Grahams). OH I am a sarcastic SOB, comes with being younger than Ajax! Happily married with two Teenagers( thats why I like scotch).
