The NNG anime club

it could definitely branch out of anime, but for now people were excited for watching some of our favorite series with others. I'm thinking if we get something set up we could get a "Cinema" channel group in the TS for this sort of thing. We're all friends here and I personally would like to hang out and just watch something interesting sometime.

Also, I'm falling asleep, I could push myself to make the meeting tonight, but I don't think I should. I wanted to talk about this more there but if someone could bring it up I will be your bff forever.

I feel like watching like 5 episodes of Sailor Moon when i was a kid doesn't make me qualified to be in this club. And by that i mean I'M NOT INTERESTED HOSPI! TAKE YOUR SAKURA SPIRIT SOMEWHERE ELSE !

 

Anime is love, anime is life.

Can't wait for this, haven't watched any anime in a while. It'll be great to watch some with yall!

 

Here's a list of Anime you can ease into if you're new to it:

- Full Metal Alchemist
- InuYasha (as far as I know there's about 200 episodes)
- Sword Art Online
- D. Grayman
- Attack on Titan (if you don't mind the gore. 8D)
- Bleach (Warning: there's a lot of fillers! 200+ episodes at least!)

There's several more but here's what I could think of.

 

I don't have gundam zero as my steam profile dp to not watch anime. Never seen any of the more prgressive/mature stuff but ill give it a crack.

Friday nights work for me, as US Friday night is my Saturday morning and watching cartoons/anime/whatever we decide sounds good to me

Keen to see how this turns out, as well as day and time.

UPDATE GUYS! WE GOT IT TO WORK
Thank you for the help in getting it figured out to Mortos and ThaneKrios for being as into this as I am.

We're going to start the voting soon for a good night to do this, I'll be streaming the first couple of times. One issue is that my upload not only is terrible, it's unreliable. So sometimes the stream stutters or loses frames. But apparently the quality is really good. Action scenes may be an issue though.

Until someone can step up and do better it'll have to do.

I'll be making a new thread on nights, can't be sunday or monday nights for me and planetside has stuff going on early on tuesday/wednesday/thursday nights. Also, since I end up using all the b/w for my household while I do this I cannot stream while my roommate is home. He works until 1am CST time so it would have to end then. But I'm cool with starting anytime at night.

 

quick question guys, did you want to just power through a show or do 2-3 a night and show 2 eps each? The only issue I have with that is that i'm a marathon man, myself. I can't hold interest in a show that's weekly, but if there are multiple episodes a night I can manage.

This will also assure that we'll be getting through more series and being more tv-schedulely.

I think in the process of making this post i've decided this would be the best way to do it, but speak now if you don't want that.

With the voting I would choose the top 2-3 shows for the lineup, then the vote can continue. I'll write up the vote/suggestions guidelines when the time comes. This is fun!

 

I'm more of a marathon person. I simply can't keep up with weekly releases.
