Since all you purple easymoders will be joining the rough and ready smurfdom for a week I figured it'd be cool to exchamge advice for separate faction loadouts/playstyles.

I know ppl such myself have only ever gunmed for magriders and dont know the art of the magburn and the ability to put tanks where tanks dont belong lol. I also know many ppl have seemed a bit unsure of how to properly use vanguards or knw which carbines are best for what.

Since NC appears to be our secondary comp faction, it would be great to get these sort of questions answered. Just as us smurfs try to play and learn arcade mode on the VS, there is plenty to learn on NC as well. I know I dont want to go into a match uncomfortable as VS and I imagine the same goes for those new to NC.

I actually started off as NC before I switched over to VS. (I was actually around level 10 before I made the swap. lulz so I'm actually still fairly new to the game gg.)

Are there specific scopes you recommend? I'm not really liking any of the scopes the NC has.

Also Shotguns and Rocket Primaries are OP. Just saying.

I tend to stick with our 1x or 3.4x crosshair scopes. 2x is ok but i only use it on my 11A. Shotguns are all the same as VS besides Jackhammer. I think the biggest challenge for switching factions are our LMGs compared to the VS ones, which I like much more.

For ARs definitely give carnage a try. It is beastly for cqc and medium range. NS-11A is the other good alterative but the new ATross is amazing OP med/long range. GD-22 I havent really tried.

Carbines.....so many good choices. Bandit is arguably best in game. Razor is great for distance with stupid fast reload. we even have the underutilized 200dmg ACX-11 which is monster. My fav is still the GD-7F though....ultimaye CQC carbine especially for engies with our unlimited ammo. Headshot machine and hasone of the highest DPS in game. Dont discount its ability to be effective at medium range once you tackle its bursting control.

Everyone knows bout cyclone...get it while it is still on sale. Great for cqc HAs. Blitz is fun if your aim isnt as refined.

I cant speak accurately on our LMGs, besides we have the notorious God Saw, Anchor (it IS good you haters), EM6, and EM1 which are all great depending on how you play. Im horrible with LMGs thoug.

SAS-R is great bolt action. Our semi auto scout is decent. Railjack is a monster if you lean to use the shot delay to your advantage. If you dont like it try the LA80 or Longshot.

I have a question, are the starters for each class worth holding onto as long as I can or should I look to save up and unlock something else.
When playing LA I felt the starter to be a little slow for my liking when fighting TR.
actually, should've shown vonicTR the mauler the other day :p

Edit: currently not a big fan of in modded gauss saw and could get a cheap weapon for the cost of unlocks. Also don't mind using burst fire weapons

Mercenary is a wonderful gun buy probably not as good for LA as it is for engie. It is a veryyyyy good medium range carbine so therefore is excelleny for support. However I think the best carbine choice for LA is the Bandit currently. It has better cqc potential but also med rng capability for when you get those nice perches in biolabs, tech plants, etc. If you are a nonstop cqc in your face LA try GD7F butake sure you run ammo belt or stick close to an engie b/c it is a bullet hose. The NC carbines shine best once you manage the higher recoil compared to TR. Obviously you have to do more with less bullets amd less rpm so def go for HS, but thats a given.

Edit: Bandit also has .75 ads movement speed which is almost reason enough to use it over others as LA.

Edit2: It is also on sale as is cyclone so def a worthwhile purchase if you have extra SC.

Not going to earn enough certs to really have to worry about builds, me. My score on NC is about 1/4 of what I earn on VS. ;_; Still, I will do my part for freedom. Stupid, stupid freedom.
