I was just wondering if anyone plays the beta of Space Engineers? Might want to check it out if you haven't seen it already, a really great Space game, and they've just released the survival mode so could be a good time to get a server going.
haha please nobody repair Kingcobra's, in fact, leave them in a hanger, in a bunker, underground, in the desert. One would have thought Tigers could kill Cobras, but apparently Cobras have developed a rather large appetite for shredded Tiger -.- Its worth another look, a LOT has changed.
I saw a beta (maybe even alpha) video. It looked SUPER cool but tedious to the point of being boring: it was showing a guy literally welding EVERY panel on the outside of a space station. Then someone crashed into the thing and blew it up. Please tell me that they have increased the design and manufacturing portion. If so then I might check it out if I can ever scrape together enough cash.
There are two modes, creative and realistic. Creative where you can just place whatever blocks you like (no welding), make stations, small ships, large ships etc, and realistic where you have to mine ore to create materials that make blocks, generators, guns etc. The basic ship blocks take about 2 seconds to weld, and if you have all the components the big things like refinery's probably take....30 seconds to a minute. It's still technically an "alpha", in the new sense of the world, but works great, and they also have a working multiplayer. If you do decide to part with your cash I'd do it quickly as they said the price of the game would be going up soon, they are probably moving into "beta".
