Reminded me of the Dark Tower series of books by Stephen King. The title, down to the emotion the song conveys brought back a lot of memories of my travels with the gunslinger, Roland as he traveled the multiverse doing the bidding of the White. Had a good time listening to it.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the positivity! It's encouraging!

Swift, do you have a link to the King movie/book? I'd love to check it out :)

I enjoy it. It did give the Joe Sat/Steve Vai and maybe a bit of Petrucci feel. Like 2:40 and before is:

    and after is

The only part I don't necessarily like is the drums. I tend to not like drums in most guitar based music. /crazykillercat

Wow that first DT song rocks. I only have like one of their albums. I like them as an instrumental band.

I could live without the singer... meh.

And yeah the drums were a bitch to program. At least the kit sounds real. Some drum kits sound very computerized and mechanical. This one sounds very humanized. I just need to work on the tone.

    Thanks for the feedback :)

Falling into infinity and Scenes from a memory are my favs. I saw them in concert in 2005 I think it was. It was pretty insane how amazing they are and yes I agree their vocalist sucks.

Yes their musical talent is almost unrivaled. Their vocalist had a voice that belonged to the 80's. It just doesn't work well with what's current in music. He can still belt out the notes but I don't care for it.
