So Vanu Won the UES (?)

    So... I am very confused. I seem to remember VS winning 2 of the 3 challenges. Then this happened.

    Yet TR got the trophy and this is the Banner for the PS2 FB page today.

    Anyone wish to explain exactly what is going on?

    Edit: This was posted on FB, "Thanks so much to all of you who joined us for the Ultimate Empire Showdown! Your votes led the Terran Repulic to victory in the popular vote, but it was the Vanu Soveriegnty who proved victorious in battle."

    Why does it still sound like we are the runner up?

    I had to work and therefore couldn't join my NNG brothers in arms.

    But after seeing that I have two thoughts.

    1. Way to kick butt, guys!

    2. WHYYYY!?? I just raged to my brother/roommate for 10 minutes about the amount of BS this is.

    VS should have won if SOE didn't have that stupid high school style popularity vote. TR have the largest overall population because they are accurate, have massive clips, and don't die as fast as us.

    If you watched the award show thing the VS dev guy (art guy) was talking about how the VS kicked everyone's butt across almost every server. HE talked about how the VS showed where it counts and don't need some popularity contest to know that we are the real winners.

    The only thing that really maters is the Mattherson row on that column. We kicked ass, great job everyone!

    Some TR kid was saying we all suck because they took 2 conts. I replied, "If you played fairly and didn't take conts while noone was there, you would have lost like you always do." Shut him up quick and he got owned.

    This angers me.

    According to this page "The fight is over when the enemy is down. Go forth and do what honor demands!" I didn't know honour and victory involved a Facebook account. Why bother having an in-game event if it has nothing to do with the outcome? Not only winning on the majority of servers, (only lost 5 of 14 servers, with one tie) including the one the "actual" event was on, it all came down to voting for a winner? I can see a vote if it was a tie, but it's like saying "Okay everyone, disregard our game entirely and vote for the prettiest logo."

    It was a fun time, though, and though I don't really care about who won overall, it showed that the VS and NNG kick serious ass. Go team!

    It was fun. Some kids tried to whine that the VS is op, they were TR, but a NC player came to back us up saying we had teamwork and that is what won it for us. I have some respect for NC, some
