I agree. It's purdy but... Holy shit, I don't need a screen that big!

There is only only two other phones out currently that match the nexus 6 specs. The Samsung note 4 and the Sony Xperia z3. I have a Samsung tablet (Note Pro 12.2). While its very nice for a tablet, its got enough bloatware to be annoying as a phone. On top of that its almost the same size as the N6 (.2" smaller). The phone I really wanted was the Xperia z3, however my derp ass carrier (AT&T) refuses to carry sony phones for whatever reason.

Also if you look at every new phone coming to market, they are all enormous! Anyone thats worth a shit or has the latest and greatest stuff is 5.5"+ or is Apple.

To me, this years Nexus line was a bust. The Nexus 6 is a big beautiful beast of a phone but too big for me. The N5 is as large of a phone as i'm willing to go. If i had to buy a phone right now it would be this years Moto X, I'd take the slight hit in specs compared to the N6 for the smaller screen size.

The Nexus 9 is a complete fail for me, I use my large tablet (nexus 10) purely as a media consuming device: Books, Comics, Netflix, Plex. The N9's 4:3 aspect ratio is complete garbage for that, any 16:9 show or movies viewing area on a N9 is actually smaller than the N7 once you account for the large black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. For web browsing, documents and gaming, it's great (i got one for my mom, and she loves it) but for what i use it for that aspect ratio is bad bad bad

Yup, its huge. I have already kinda gotten used to it. TBH, my biggest issue with it right now is how freaken slippery the backing is on it. I go a nice slim rubbery case coming in tomorrow, but holy shit. I have almost dropped this thing a dozen times in the first 24hrs of owning it. Far more than the whole life of owning an iphone 5s!

So far I am not totally impressed with it. Its got some better features as the iphone but the iphone has some stuff thats better. I was expecting more from the n6. I am kinda dissapointed.
