I'm wondering what the chances are of us seeking out another clan and doing some serious matches. I don't know if there is any interest in that sort of thing within our group, but I think it could be a very fun thing to do to go tryhard mode and see what we're capable of against another group of people. Honestly I'm not even sure if there's that kind of interest left in the game period, just brainstorming really. If we could pull off some scrims or something I think it could renew some interest in the game and give a lot of the vets a goal in game from time to time. I love casual ops and the shit we give each other, but I could see going tryhard from time to time as being very fun too. Thoughts?
I think that would be great but I would highly recommend a couple of weeks working tactics. We're good enough to pummel most pubs, but if we go against another outfit that routinely plays in matches then I have a feeling we'll get beat up pretty good. Plenty of talent just needing to decide roles and supporting. I watch and play with CFA regularly (yes yes...I know they are normal) and they are VERY good. It's because they all know exactly what their role is on every map and how to advance together. I would have no problem with doing it but it would mean less casual game play. I guess it depends if that's the general consensus.
Yeah, I agree totally that we would have some serious work to put in to pull off something like that. If we just went in as is to a scrim we would probably get dunked pretty hard by a practiced team. I dunno if anyone else is really even interested in that type of gameplay, just thought it might add a little element of spice to the division to have things to work toward during normal play and then the fun of the scrims when they happen.
Scrims/matches are awesome if everyone is chill about it. We had a few back when we did a lot of BF3 playing. I recommend checking this section, there is probably still a ton of tactics, training material from the old scrims. There were a few where we got whooped bad, but it was all fun. http://nononsensegamers.com/index.php?forums/nng-team-tactics.45/ http://nononsensegamers.com/index.php?threads/bs-scrim-squad-tactics-all-squads-report-in.1032/
