Anything from Pong, to Mario Kart 64, if it's at least 2 console generations old (This would be PS2, Gamecube, Xbox at the latest) this would be the thread for it!

I've been playing alot of these games that I played as a young kid on my PC with some emulators lately, and I gotta say, now that I'm old enough to understand what the plot is, holy fuck.

I played through the Kingdom Hearts series (KH all the way through 358/2 Days in order the plot takes place, so I went KH1 > Chain of Memories > Birth by Sleep > KH2 > 358/2 Days), played Majora's Mask, and am now playing Final Fantasy X. The Square Enix games in particular (KH and Final Fantasy) have stories that I never truly realized were as deep as they are. There's some SERIOUS political messages in FFX that I never noticed as a kid, and the characters are really well developed.

I think next I'll play through Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 again, then onto FFVII and FFIV, which were another set of Final Fantasy games I really loved when I was younger.

What have you guys been playing? What's your fondest memories? Look for games that are from a generation at least prior to the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii. These games are almost all about 10 years old now (WOW WTF).

I started playing KH 1 on my PC and was going to move onto KH2 after. Should get back to it some time. I haven't tried the others because I'm not sure if they play like the regular series which is one of the reasons I liked it.
Every few years I also go on pokemon (only red/blue/yellow or silver/gold) for a few weeks. Grinding levels is easier on pc with speed up.
I like star wars battlefront 2 and played it a few weeks ago online with patrick and it was still fun. I have it on steam if anyone else wants to try a few games.
I've also been planning on trying out morrowwind but want to mod it up graphically but never got around to it.

Almost none of the other games play like KH1 and 2.

Chain of Memories is a card game, like the Yugioh games for PS2, but with a KH theme and story, Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days both have SIMILAR systems to KH1 and 2, but super simplified for the handhelds.

I also have Battlefront 2 for Steam, but mine is a bit modded for new (read: old) eras and better levels. I have yet to find graphical mods for it, unfortunately.

I'm not sure about Morrowind, it's something I LOVED playing when I was younger, but never really modded.

Wouldn't mind a few extra levels for battlefront.

Ya I remember reading about the card game and seeing as they were on handhelds I wasn't too interested in them.

I didn't play morrowind before so I'd like to try it out with some mods. Well I tried the beginning got caught stealing and trying to kill a guard and the guy supposed to register me so I could start the game attacked me.

I forget the name of the mods, I'll look them up.
