Ghost, I wouldn't recommend using it with BF3. Last I checked, EA is beginning to ban accounts using it. I'm not sure if they have changed it or not but I'd play it safe.

Yeah using SweetFX is VERY similar to using a game hack, in fact by all means it is a game hack. Therefore unless the devs state "WE SUPPORT SWEET FX AND DON'T BAN", don't use it for any online games. PS2 devs said they use it and endorse it.

PB developers/admins/moderators have stated several times they do not have detection in place to detect SweetFX or FXAA Injector, furthermore when/if they do start detection it would be a simple restriction, resulting in a 0 minute kick. It's safe, I've done extensive research on it.

FXAA Injector was developed by Timothy Lottes, an Nvidia developer. SweetFX is an improvement, building upon the FXAA Injector. The way they both work is through injecting different post-processing methods that a PB screenshot won't even see, and game hacks inject code into memory to manipulate how the game works. It's not a 'hack' in the sense of aimbots and such, it's a 'hack' in the sense that it creates a solution for a problem. /research

You're totally safe using either method.

Im still a little confused. What exactly is this and what does it do? How will it make my ps2 gaming experience any better and is it endorsed by the devs?

It's an injector, basicly a hack, but it's purpose is to overrite the game's programmed graphics settings, and let you adjust them yourself. If you set it up properly, you can make any game look much, much better than you previously thought they looked. As long as the game company specificly says "It's okay to use", you'll be sweeped up by automatic anti-cheat systems for "hacking". It is safe to use in PS2 as the Devs know of it very well and promised that it'll be safe to use with their game without being banned. However you have to be careful when you use Sweet FX on other multiplayer games as the devs may not know of it/allowed exceptions for it.

LONG STORY SHORT: It's just a file you put into your game's folder that lets you tweak graphics settings.

There should be instructions on the offical site for it. You have to drop and drop all the files into the install folder of the game you wish to alter. (Where the game.exe is)

Anyone using this with the steam version? When I install it my game just crashes.

Edit: Fixed the problem, it had nothing to do with the steam version, it was the Teamspeak overlay causing it.

Man, This thing is sweet... which explains the name I guess!

Enabling lumasharpen, vibrance and curves is like removing a layer of dirt off your monitor you didn't know was there.
