I was at an airsoft CQB game earlier today and decided to do a little representation IRL.

I had the shirt made up by a friend a few months back using designs given to me by the very talented @Doomforge

Was a good day out and the loadout was a nice change up from the usual camo.

Was using a hk416 aeg I made from scratch and a kwa G17.

Ya, the mesh doesn't look nice but it's easier to breath in and in CQB I don't want a tooth shot out.

I play airsoft for the added realism, good accuracy and relatively low running cost.
I wouldn't use mesh for paintball but it's good for airsoft (doesn't fog at a cost of a slight reduction to visibility) as our limit is low enough (328 fps countrywide, US would typically be 350fps-cqb, 400fps-outdoor and up) and most people don't use really cheap low quality BBs (some can shatter on contact with mesh, been lucky not to have this happen to me) now as we have some good stores here selling at good prices so the lower quality ones aren't really a bargain.
Airsoft can leave a sting more than the bruises in paintball and over time your body adapts so they go away faster and sting for less time.
Because the projectile is smaller it is more focused, really high fps limits can break skin (higher than what I play at) but anywhere that allows that has a minimum engagement distance

Maybe I'll be able to play airsoft whenever I get to visit the US.
Is there no sites in your area? I know that the coastal areas can sometimes be more popular for sites.
I am lucky because I have a good site in my county.
I have found that airsoft is a game where you can show up on the day and make a few friends as most airsofters I have met have been friendly and helpful.
I have been playing for years and I have friends who I would play on the same side with if they are there but I am not on any team. I'm freelance.

If you ever can, give a day a try and see how you like it.
It's always great when the community expands.
It's a good sport and promotes team work and helps out with individual skills too.
