Colonize solar systems, smash entire worlds, and obliterate your foes in epic battles with multiple players and thousands of units. Planetary Annihilation takes real-time strategy to a planetary scale.

Control rumbling, powerful tanks of war, massive bomber jets, and an assortment of subs, bots, orbital units, and battleships. Use entire planets as bases and then send your war machine to other celestial bodies. Play with up to 10 players in epic free-for-alls or battle against AI. Strap rockets to asteroids and send them tearing into your opponents' planets, turning them into craters. Don't just win, annihilate!

Now that the sales pitch is over... My official Steam Review:

For fans of the Real Time Stratagy genre, this game is a breath of fresh air. From the intuitive controls, the unique ideas, and goregous planets, this game will bring a smile to your face and wow you everytime you play it. Still being in beta it absolutely has it's fair share of bugs, but it has quite the potential.

Old RTS games used to flaunt how they included "Land Air and Sea" combat on one map! Well Planetary Annihilation has Land, Air, Sea, Orbital, Interorbital, AND Interplanetary combat.

My personal favorite is the ability to create your own solar system and tweak each planet to your liking.

    9/10

(only because there is no space combat... yet. Give me a StarCraft-II-Yamato-Battlecrusier-esque ship that can bombard planets from orbit and large sized transports and other interplanetary vessels so I can actually invade a planet rather then just land one builder at a time to build a base to attack the enemy........ and you got a 10/10 game.)

This game is super fucking fun. It is currently on sale for $20 off at the Humble Store and it is bound to be on sale some time during the steam holiday sale, which started today. During the Autumn sale it only ever dropped to $10 off. Now... I'm not saying it wont go on sale for more than $10 during this steam sale, I just personally didn't want to gamble and take the chance of it never being cheaper than that of the Humble Store. And I supported a charity. So it's a win win.

I know those of you who I've talked to about the game keep asking "Hey Phaedo, what's it like when you crash shit into a planet?" well my friends, until tonight I didn't know because the AI is a complete asshole. Either that or I start building my Moon base and the nuclear missile that I shoot down to the surface of the planet that I'm orbiting, accidentally kills their commander (which blows up all of their units) and then ends the game. Well. With that said, tonight I teamed up with my good buddy Mortos and we found out exactly what happens when you strap Halley V Engines to a moon and slingshot it around the sun and crash it into a planet.

And It was Fucking Glorious. I apologize in advance for the rather shitty video quality. I have a kick ass machine but my upload speed is disgustingly slow. But nevertheless, its like 480 or something and it's not too terrible. And it's totally fucking cool, and it was so god damn gratifying.
