    Hello and welcome to the official Elder Scrolls Online Beta Test Thread!!!

    Those of us who have been accepted into the ESO beta have created characters in the Ebonheart Pact!! Once you are in-game feel free to make a character in that faction and join us!! (races include Nord, Dunmer, and Argonian) or if that's not your thing, feel free to try another faction! Daggerfall Covenent (Breton, Orc, and Redguard) and the Aldmeri Dominion (Altmer, Bosmer, and Kajiit) look really cool as well!

    Also PLEASE REMEMBER this is a BETA TEST. Not a Beta Access. There will be crashes, and there will be bugs. EXPECT THESE. If you find any serious bugs submit a report and just list here what it is you found. Personally I will be taking the "testing" part quite seriously so I might not be "super pro game l337 mlg swag" intense into the actual game, all the time.

    Also. NO SCREENSHOTS. It will violate the NDA.

    my IGN is Phaedo, I am a Nord Dragonknight, and if you send me a message saying "NNG FORUMS RULE" I will totally send you an invite to what ever it is we are doing.

    feel free to add your information below, even if you play with us or not, just so I, and the rest of the NNG community, can see how many people are intrested/will be invested in ESO.

    You are correct sir. I usually think of zenimax as the publisher for elder scrolls. Didn't know they had set up another company to make the online game and that it wasn't a bethesda game. That or it's so long since I heard eso announced that I forgot the dev change.

    It's not open beta. Not yet anyway. The full game is slated for release of Spring 2014, and it is currently in Closed Invite only Beta. In order to get accepted you just get an email some time after you sign up. (I signed up in like.. April or March 2013, just got in now.)

    is any one else a little disappointed so far.... i mean its not bad but it is so cookie cutter MMO, it almost does not feel Elder Scrolls to me..

    Nope not at all I personally am really enjoying it. I'm a huge TES fanboy though so I may be not be impartial. But I'm loving its combat and skilling. The Alliance War, while basically a re-skin of Guild Wars 2's World v World, took what made WvW shit and seriously improved on it. The dynamic environments and combat is fantastic. For legal reasons I won't elaborate, but I seriously am enjoying the game so far, especially with the knowledge that it is in Beta?!, it can really only get better.

    i have not gotten in to WvW.... it is probably also do to the fact i have played every major MMO to date... so all i see is re-hash of content including the combat system a little... the leveling of each skill is new. i like the graphics and animation though... as well as the chara build... but i def. did not get to play as much as i wanted to because i have been working all weekend...
