Here's something I want to try out:
NNG plays a LOT of different games. Most of the time we're all in our little groups and playing only those games with the same people. I don't mean to rock the boat here, but I think we could stand a little closer to each other some times, we're a community here right?

Big games, small games. NEW games even. I'm thinking in the grand scale of things, every sunday night we should get together and play a game that has an NNG foothold, or find a new one and see where it takes us. It's not all BF4, PS2 and watermelon cupcakes.

Once a week, on Sunday nights, we should play a game with as many people as we can get interested. Then at the end of that night we decide on what game we're going to play the next week. Starting NEXT SUNDAY APRIL 12TH. We have until wednesday to figure out what game to play.

(I know there's going to be some grumbling already on "but I can't buy that game or I can't get that game" I'm like the cheapest person here so I know. Let's keep it F2P or something we can all get access to, eg. Cards Against Humanity (always a good time) Quake Live, older games we can get on the internets.)

    NNG, now with more watermelon!

On topic, Cards against humanity was always good when we ran it a few fridays. Good way to start the weekend.

I know that there was a night run a while back where games like quake live, CAH and garry's mod were mentioned so those are options.
Might add some left4dead 2 to that list, it also should be in a lot of people's steam libraries by now. Killing floor works well as coop but not sure how many have that.

We have a pretty substantial group still playing Mechwarrior Online and Warframe. There were a couple of people playing League of Legends for a while there too. Smite, etc. We can show them some love and include them in the rest of NNG sometime, it just feels like those groups are excluded from the big ones.

This is a good idea, however I believe I'm the only one left playing MWO.

Patrick, Dr Goop and their friends regularly play warframe. It is mostly 4 player but there are 8 player raids now. Although I don't think that will be too friendly to new players. Warframe is still free to play.

Smite has some interest among members but I don't know how many play it. And I think it is occasional play. It is quite fun and I enjoyed it with teammates as you can organise teamwork and communicate to have more fun.
I have no interest in other MOBAs I just never had much interest in the platform. But I found smite more interesting with it exploring mythology and having a more direct experience with all powers and attacks aimed and WASD movement as opposed to clicking.

Pickle's right. TF2 is stupid easy and free to pick up and play. I came from playing that game.

Games I'd like to also recommend:

    Payday 2
    Arma 3
    iSketch (Pictionary Online anyone? :D)
Online Mafia/Werewolf (I'm thinking about either Town of Salem (on Steam, but there is a "laggy" flash version online) or epicmafia.com)
Magicka (Magicka 2 is coming out soon! So picking it up!)
    Borderlands/2
Garry's Mod (I haven't played much of it, but would like to play Trouble in Terrorist Town with ya'll)
    Red Orchestra 2
    Insurgency
    Counterstrike GO
    Minecraft
    Quake Online

I found this website that is supposed to allow you to compare games with people. I think it is only for people on your friends list in steam though. But this could be very useful if everyone interested added each other and we could then see what games we all have in common or if there are any free or cheap game to recommend to those who do not have them.
