Now that the PS2 division is gone I'll start playing AA more regularly from today on. The only problem is don't get along well with MMORPGs because I have barely any experience of the metas of this type of games. I'm currently LVL 13 so I need to start grinding. Please if you see me playing give a word of advice, I'm not gonna take your time by asking you to mentor me, but I learn fast. Usually the part i have the most difficulty dealing with is trade runs. So I'll see you guys later and let see if can become a good RPG player like you
I'm around your level right now (20) on my Elf character so if you hit me up on Steam or on TS (I'll be lurking around, but not talking. Too much love for FF14 at the moment), I'll definitely come over and help you out. It sucks doing this alone.
Dude hit me up and we can help you out. I usually log in after 8pm est I am an MMO novice but was able to pick it up relatively quickly with the help of everyone here
Archeage is Jodquag's first MMORPG, and I think maybe RPG period, and he's picked up fairly quickly and doing well. I think you'll get the hang of it soon. Oh, but we get Gilda Stars for that Don't feel at a total loss. The first 10-20 levels is a learning curve for anyone, for any game, regardless of experience.
I think in this game the learning curve starts at level 50 because everything up to level 50 is pretty much rinse and repeat.
Yeah, it's at the point where players will literally PAY you gold for the chance to get those 3 Gilda Stars for mentoring you
I'm a huge MMO nerd. I've obtained about 8-9 years experience, at least, of playing them, and about 4-6 of those years was guild leading waaay back in WoW. Any questions, any issues, any confusion about anything that you or anyone has, feel free to /whisper me, send me mail, inbox me, what ever your question, whenever you ask I will take time to answer it. Also if you have a smartphone and if you use What'sApp we have an ArcheAge one and we do some pretty awesome talks there as well. If you would like to join our AA What'sApp (which the app is free btw) send me an inboxed message with the number of the phone you use the app on and I will get you in on it!
That's certainly true, and I'd say true for pretty much every other MMO. Prior to level cap, if you never know what to do, you can always just work toward level cap. Once you're there it's "now what do I do with my time?" It's never quite as clear cut where to go from there. I think figuring it out is half the fun. That and it forces you to communicate and work with others to learn what's going on and what to do.
