Alright so you all have noticed medics being more of a kill class and not reviving at all; I really can't go a session without someone complaining about it so I decided to make a post.
Medics have the health regen which acts kindof like the heavy's sheild by regening a few bars while being shot which in turn may save them from a bullet or two and we all know how much that is. Medics also get a few good weapons as well as the NS weapons and non class specific vanu weapons.
Another thing is medics also get C4 which is odd, but whatever, as well as a gun with a grenade launcher, which I love. This makes it so easy for me to clear a room i.e. walk in blast the shit out of anyone with the grenade launcher, toss C4, and go in guns blazing. Then reviving people, which some medics leave out cause well THE BEST KILL CLASS OF THE GAME.
Thank you for reading my rabble

I've been playing mainly medic since Beta, before it was cool. With this new flood of medics, I'm actually starting to branch out.

    It's my fault. Really!
I never played medic as a traditional heal you class. I am more likely to toss a rev grenade and clear the room/general area/whole enemy group than I am to pull out a medic tool and revive you.
Only when there's a distinct lack of things to actually PEW PEW then I'll consider it.
Donations have no sway over my decisions of who lives and dies. :)

Love the medic class, I have noticed the REv grenades are not as effective as they use to be. Is this just me?

I haven't noticed a difference, but I haven't been on too much lately.

I haven't noticed a change. As stated before though, more medics = more people using them = less effective. I've been trying to branch out to other classes because of medic crowding.

It is supremely frustrating to toss a rez nade only to see about 8 more land simultaneously. I find myself, like Bonezilla, playing other classes more often; specfically LA, Engie, and Infiltrator which I've become surprisingly adept at in CQC.

In BioLab fights, once we start making some headway, I start carrying healing nades instead. Once the SCU shield drops and people start trying to get in/overload the SCU, they work wonders for keeping the people in the SCU room up and combat capable. They have a pretty large AOE and heal pretty fast. This also works for when we have tons of people in the shield room trying to keep the doors clear so they can't fix the gen. Yeah you probably get more XP for mass revives after people drop, but it makes the biolab cap go a lot quicker if people can just keep fighting, meaning you can move onto to another territory much faster.
