I know a lot of us are in this storms path. I want to wish everyone a safe endeavor. I know Nicole and me are right in her path. God bless everyone and "TAKE COVER""

Thanks for posting this as new Efaw. It's going to be a big one. Shouldn't be underestimated at all.

It's here at Canandaigua now. It is only in the early stages with 30mph gusts but it wont be that bad. Maybe a few tree limbs down and poweroutages because it begins to lost some power once it left the ocean. And my walmart is out of everything because people overreact. I almost died laughing in the drinks isle, no water but plenty of beer!!

People aren't over reacting bro, 48 people died in the Caribbean Islands because of Sandy. Granted they don't have the same precautionary measures and advisories as us land lovers do, but still people died.

People will get hurt, billions of dollars in property will be damaged, homes will be flooded / toppled, people will be without power for weeks.

I understand what mental place you're in because I was once too cool for school as well, but the segue into adult hood leaves me in a different mindset nowadays.

I fear for my new home, my garage, the possessions in my basement, my pets. It's not just going to be a dinky pass through storm. It's a 900 mile wide storm with 90 mile an hour winds, that's moving at 10mph. That means not only just 90mph winds but 30mph sustained winds even when gusts are not present, over the course of 48 hours. 48 hours.

Come 8:00pm this evening in most of New England, a lot of naysayers who laughed in the face of mother nature will be singing a different tune.

    Good luck with that. ;)

Those effects are on the coastal areas. Im talking about inland areas. I know that there will be a ton of damage along the coasts and by lakes.

I'm over by Pittsburgh, and Kowl is right. There's way to much over-reaction by those that are far too inland to be effected at all.

But withthat said, I do hope everyone in the path takes great caution.
