It looks interesting and all but I can't really justify the purchase price right now when I'm still playing and enjoying 4.

I just can't get into it. Still loving BF4 and mostly holding out till the end of the year to get Battlefront.

will be staying off it for a while. I have seen two opinions so far, the battlefield friends and totalbiscuit. The battlefield friends seemed to like it a lot but they were flown out to an exclusive EA event and have done some promo and testing with EA. They thought that it was a new way to play battlefield compared to BF4 which they have probably played to death by now.

Totalbiscuit went through it and had a bad opinion of it as a full retail game. He said it is a fully functional shooter but you can get other ones just as good or better for less money. He describes it as simply battlefield with a new skin as opposed to something radically different or even a cop based shooter. There also looks to be a really low weapon selection for classes unless new weapons are hidden entirely not just blacked out when your level is too low.

I think then that hardline can be good if you have played enough bf4 and want something new, but if there is still fun to be had in bf4 or dlc to be played you may be better off saving your money and playing that or purchasing the dlc if you haven't rather than buying a full retail game. That's just the impression I have gotten.

I have only heard nothing but positive info about hardline. That said I may get it at some point down the line, but not right now. Ever since my origin was compromised I've been pretty.... hesitant about purchasing something from it. But I will be getting battlefront when it launches. That game was the TPS of my childhood. It better not suck.

I picked it up this weekend and so far i have been very happy with it.

I've really been having a blast with some of the new games modes particularly Blood Money and Hotwire.

    - Blood Money you have "Central" pile of money that both teams are trying to get. a player runs up to the pile grabs as much as you dare and runs it back to your teams Vault. Kinda like capture the flag, but what i've found so fun is that you can also take money out of the other teams Vault and run it back to yours.

    - Hotwire has certain cars placed around the map that the teams fight over. For your team to get points you have to get to one of these certain cars and keep over a certain speed... the longer you keep the car going the more points your team gets. Simple game play mechanic but damn it's fun.

I like the money unlock system for weapons so much more than the linear / battlepack system in BF4. Some of the guns in BF4 I won't use because the damned sight i like is only unlocked by a (stupid) battlepack.

A few of the new things in BFH would be awesome if they rolled them over into BF4, like class loadouts and respawn timers on vehicles.

oh, oh...I almost forgot no fucking front knife animation
