    Hey everyone,

I've been absent for a couple weeks but I wanted to touch base and make everyone aware of a few things.

First off. I'm a married man now. <3 Some of you may have even been on TS the night I stopped in after waaaay to many celebratory beers on my honeymoon/staycation. :D Sorry about that.

Second, I've taken on a new work assignment and position that will require me to step down from NNG. I had to think about it over the past few days because NNG is more than "just some clan" to me. You and I, have put a lot of time and energy, (not to mention money) into the community but it has to take a back seat to a few items that actually have an impact on my real world life.

I need to hand off my control of NNG and allow someone to run with it. Ideally I'd like to see one or two of you volunteer to run it. This would include ownership of the following services:

    • Web Hosting / These Forums ($40 month)
    • Web Caching Service (free)
    • NNG Massive Warfare ($66 month)
    • TeamSpeak ($28/6mo)
    • Rconnet subscription and account ($10/3mo)

    Roughly $115 a month.

...and what I mean is that I'd be transferring ownership of those services (costs included) to someone else.

If anyone is interested please reply directly to this thread. As I work on these new business ventures in my life, from my perspective, the NNG server and site wane and do little for me but cost money. I wish I could play more but I think this is it.

If you have an interest in keeping NNG running then lets get together and work out the details. It won't be cheap but I'm sure other members could chip in each month to keep costs manageable. I would love more than anything to be able to hand off these services, especially the NNG MW server without interruption in stability or rank so that it won't have to be ranked up all over again.

I apologize if this seems abrupt but there's never a good time to bring up something like this. I feel the community is strong and the bond we've shared will hopefully translate to new ownership or a new community that you guys to start if transferring NNG isn't plausible. Going lights-out temporarily isn't an option for me at this point. To be completely honest, this community costs money and it's not enjoyable to not be around and on top of that continue to fund everything. I think NNG has more potential in the hands of someone more active.

I'll come around again to play some day, (maybe to take a peak at Armored Kill), but as it stands now I have to walk away

    G /hmm

If this seems over dramatic and douchey it is not my intent. I tend to ramble sometimes when I can't find the words to convey how important some things are to me and honestly you guys (and gal) are all fucking awesome. You mean a lot to me.

Man, it was great fun playing with you, but some thing's have to be done. I am glad to hear you are now married, and i hope your work goes well. Plan on playing any last games, like a NNG going away party, I haven't been on lately to see all that many of you.
Best of luck, and greatest regards,

The donation option was available for a while but it was used very infrequently. Also, I felt uncomfortable asking for donations on a community that I decided to start. So....

Continuing to operate in that way just doesn't make sense to me. I'm in talks with Orestes taking over the server and payments now. It would be a clean hand off, meaning, everyone's adminship remains intact.

Thanks bro. We definitely had some kick ass times and good laughs. /rofl

Thanks bro. To you as well. I'm glad you joined NNG. If this all goes according to plan you will continue to game with NNG long after I've taken a back seat. /yay

Instead of taking a backseat can I just duct tape you to the hood of my truck? =[

If y'all want I can just host the TS server. Mine is up and I been hosting one off of a laptop for like a year now. I can just give you guys the info and that would save 60 bucks a year.
